CHAPTER 628 THE WEDDING NIGHT

Lance was visibly very calm. He wouldn't be surprised even if Rocky flew in with Isis in his arms,

because he knew that Rocky was born with a special way of doing things. Lance wouldn't feel

surprised at all anytime Rocky did anything unexpected.

As for Isis, as she heard the noise of murmuring around her, she felt so ashamed. Fortunately, she was

covered by a red veil and the people couldn't see just how red her face already was. Maybe she was

After Rocky took her to the front of the wedding hall, he put her down on the ground to stand. Isis' legs

After noticing Lance's reaction, Rocky loosened his grip on Isis' arms. Still hidden under the red cloth,

Isis wasn't sure whether she wanted to laugh or cry. 'This is literally killing me! If others knew about

this, how am I going to hold my position in Crimson Dragon Army?' Isis thought to herself.

"It is time. The wedding is about to start." At that time, a majestic old man, who was invited by Lance

specially, stood in front of the wedding hall and announced loudly.

Then, they turned around and bowed down to Lance.

After some traditional procedures, Rocky and Isis were finally recognized as a couple.

Of course, not everyone was happy. Such as Marin, whose eyes were red from crying and her face

was full of sadness during the announcement. She was happy that her cousin finally found her Mr.

days.

"Where have you been? I haven't seen you for days," Marin asked with concern.

"I just wanted to take a trip to relax. I didn't expect to hear that Rocky and Isis are going to marry as

soon as I came back though," Sabina said coldly.

"I thought you had already left. But, hadn't you spent so much time with Rocky? Why did you

suddenly... Is there anything that happened between you two?" Marin wondered.

"Nothing. You are the one I should worry about. You must be sad." Sabina had known that Marin had a

crush on Rocky.

"There is nothing to be sad about. He is not the only man in the world. Besides, if Isis is happy, I should

be happy too," Marin said in a soft and low tone. Although she said those words, there was no

confidence on her face.

"Well, forget it. Let's find a place to drink." In fact, it was Sabina who was in a very bad mood,

especially after hearing what Rocky had said that night. She was still angered at that. However, she

could not leave. Not this time.

Marin nodded to agree to get drinks, and then the two girls disappeared into the thin air.

On the other hand, after the wedding ceremony, Rocky and Isis were escorted by a group of people

and sent to the decorated bridal chamber beside the wedding hall.

After the door was closed, both of them breathed a sigh of relief.

When Isis uncovered the red cloth, she found that Rocky was standing close in front of her. It was

obvious that she hadn't gotten used to her new role and thus she was very shy. Rocky, however,

thought that this made her look very attractive under the candlelight.

"I'll be your husband from now on. You can call me husband." Rocky was attracted to her beauty and

he immediately flirted with her.

"I won't call you that!" Isis gave him a stern look and sat on the bed.

"Okay then I will go first. My wife, it's time for us to drink wine with our arms crossed with each other,"

said Rocky with a smirk as he took a look at the shiny wine glasses on the table.

Being called wife by Rocky, Isis' face turned red at once. She whined and complained, "Don't go too far.

Don't forget that we are not actually... getting married..." She lowered her voice when she spoke the

last two words on purpose, so no one else could hear.

"I don't care if it is true or not. Now that we have entered the bridal chamber, there is no difference. So

better we just drink this cross cupped wine." Rocky picked up two glasses of wine on the table and

handed one to Isis.

After hesitating for a while, Isis took the cross cupped wine from him. Her eyes were looking to the

floor.

"What are you thinking? Are you planning something?" Isis looked at him with vigilance.

"What can I do with just a glass of wine? What? You can't even drink a glass of wine with me?" Rocky

teased and smiled.

"I'm warning you, don't have any bad ideas," Isis muttered in a definite tone. After saying that, she

raised the glass of wine in front of Rocky.

With an evil smile, Rocky raised his wine glass to her. Then they crossed their arms and drank the

cross cupped wine.

After that, they sat on the bed side by side in silence as they did not know what to say. After couples

drank their cross cupped wine, they usually did what they were supposed to do on their wedding night.

However, as they were a fake couple, the atmosphere was tense and awkward. So they did not say a

word for a while. The two of them could only look at each other.

Feeling awkward, Isis bit her lower lip softly. After all, they were a man and woman alone in a room.

They were a married couple as well, which naturally made people feel embarrassed.
