CHAPTER 781 ENTANGLED IN TROUBLE
Based on Lucas and Queenie's earlier conversation, Rocky could tell that they were interested in the
Myriad Spirit Tomb as well. Moreover, Queenie mentioned that it was supposedly a legendary tomb that
had never been witnessed by humans before. Queenie's speculations were later confirmed on the
map. Indeed, it was the Myriad Spirit Tomb that no human ever had been able to reach and thus was
labeled a legend.
It laid deep within a dense, vast forest that not only covered the route to it but also would make for a
difficult return as well. Flying was also out of the question due to the huge black shadows that soared
through the sky and howled deafening screams at anyone who drew near them.
In short, this forest would be a dangerous one to hike through. It would take a miracle for Rocky to get
out of there alive.
Of course, Rocky wouldn't give up so easily.
"Where's foodie?" After a two-hour walk through the large, maze-like forest, Rocky sensed the
presence of a particular beast nearby—the Rainbow Glow Unicorn. But he could not figure out his
exact location.
Because as he went deep into the forest, he could see a variety of spirit-manipulated beasts with high
stars and at high stage, along with some other rare beasts. The number of those beasts was getting
larger and larger, as if he had stepped into the enormous Jurassic Park. Those which had been
deemed as extinct species in the Beast Encyclopedia were anything but extinct as they freely roamed
and could be seen everywhere. Rocky realized that he could make a good fortune off of this discovery.
As time passed, however, there were fewer paths left for him to choose from. His range of motion
became more limited with each step he took and would make his search for the Rainbow Glow Unicorn
a more challenging one.
He was left with two options—either seek the treasure first or prioritize searching for and finding the
Rainbow Glow Unicorn. Just as he was about to make a decision, a harsh scream erupted near him.
"That voice… It sounds like…a woman." As soon as he heard it, Rocky immediately bolted towards the
direction of the screech.
Soon enough, a dainty figure riding on the back of a white, bear-like, spirit-manipulated beast was
found to his right. Nearby, he could sense the presence of an enormous five-star beast at the fifth
grade chasing after them.
Quickly, the delicate woman atop the snowy beast approached him. He let out a playful smile as they holds © this.
drew nearer. It was Queenie, the woman he had just met several days ago.
"It's a five-star Combating Heavenly Robust Wolf at the fifth grade—one of the top ten most powerful
war beasts in the entire world. If that wasn't impressive enough, this diabolical creature could
potentially reach six stars too." With great speed, Rocky found the information about this beast that
was hot on their tail.
It was obvious that Queenie hadn't experienced enough to handle this Combating Heavenly Robust
Wolf on her own.
Despite this, Rocky simply grinned and folded his arms across his chest before moving to the side to
wait and see what would happen next. It appeared that he didn't want to get into any trouble, so he
decided that helping her wouldn't be an option. Moreover, with her cunning and stubbornness, Queenie
needed to be taught how to behave.
To his surprise, she began to call out, "Master, help!" as she remained upon the beast's back.
Due to her loud scream, high-level beasts were able to locate her. A bunch of grass and leaves began
to stir all around them. Other beasts appeared to be interested in Queenie, too.
"Are you insane? I understand that today isn't your lucky day, but don't do anything stupid to make
things worse." Rocky was worried that she would end up attracting multiple beasts and that he wouldn't
be able to fend them all off. Looking around, he disappeared the next second.
At this time, Queenie was running for her life and didn't notice the presence of Rocky. A figure suddenly
flashed behind her and its hand ended up covering her tiny mouth before she could react. "If you want
to be alive," the voice behind her threatened, "then don't scream. Order your beast to stop. Now."
She didn't care who this man was—at the beginning, at least. As soon as he threatened her, she
commanded her beast to stop.
Queenie couldn't help but look back to see just who this person was. However, Rocky appeared out of
nowhere and rushed them forward with his hand wrapped around hers.
"Ice Bear..." She immediately conjured up a portal to the Magic Spiritual Space and hid her beast within
it. The warm hand that wrapped itself around hers made her freeze for a moment, not because it felt
uncomfortable but because it was the first time that a man had casually held her. Without resistance,
she let Rocky lead her forward.
She had more than enough strength to get rid of the beast. After all, she had gone on many tours
accompanied by her master who had reached the Divine Stage. But she had only visited them and
never got to have the proper combat training. While she could handle three to four-star level beasts
easily, she just freaked out facing with the five-star beast and couldn't handle it properly.
At that moment, she couldn't understand why she let Rocky lead her by the hand.
Soon, the Combating Heavenly Robust Wolf was closing the gap between them. It was getting closer
and closer.
"It should be there." His eyes froze when he found the spot in front of them. It was a large pool of water
that surged towards the sky as if a geyser had just erupted from deep within the earth.
Luckily, Rocky had passed this pool a few hours prior, so he knew where to go in case he needed to
escape danger.
"Get off." After stopping in front of the pond, Rocky turned around and shouted at Queenie.
"Wait... I can't… swim..." Queenie turned pale as she was pushed down into the pool, unable to catch a
glimpse of who exactly was pushing her.
