Brazilian Bug Boy looked down at Emberlyn's body. Her eyes were still open and red. "She's still mind controlled even in death. What a way to go." he stated.

"Well at least she probably didn't feel any pain." Cutecumber added, trying to lighten the situation.

Floran was in utter shock. She didn't remember anything. She was staring at the lakes, and then the next moment she was staring at Emberlyn's dead body.

"Well Floran... don't know what we're gonna do." Goose Man said with a shrug. Floran grabbed Goose Man by the collar and stared into his soul. Goose Man's mind turned to mush as he stared into the abyss. Floran let him go, and he collapsed to the ground.

The salmon that was mind controlling Emberlyn began glowing again, and Emberlyn's wounds started healing. "See, everything's fine." Lusha said, patting Floran on the back.

Emberlyn stood up, her eyes glowing redder than before. She smirked menacingly, and spoke in a demonic tone, saying, "To kill me, you have to cut my head off. But can you really kill a friend?"

"YES!" Octopus Man shouted, running up to Emberlyn. Floran quickly tackled Octopus Man. "NO DUMBASS!" she yelled.

Floran then stood up and said, "So you're the salmon aren't you." Emberlyn nodded, laughing to herself. "Yes, and I have given all of my strength to this weak girl." she responded, her voice, deeper than usual.

"Oh yeah? Is that so?" Floran asked rhetorically before reaching out her hand and holding her up telekinetically. "Let go of my friend." she commanded.

"HAHA! I DON'T THINK YOU GET IT! I WOULD RATHER DIE!" Emberlyn shouted, laughing maniacally.

"Why are these salmon so evil?" Brazilian Bug Boy asked. "All salmon are evil." Lusha responded. "I still remember my first day of elementary school. A damn salmon always took my lunch money, so I murdered him in cold blood." she concluded with a proud smile on her face.

Brazilian Bug Boy stared at Lusha with a blank expression. "You're a weird one." he stated.

"Hey guys. I just remembered. We can mutilate Emberlyn all we want, as long as we don't cut off her head, she should be fine." Cutecumber said.

"Good point!" Brazilian Bug Boy replied, running past Floran and unsheathing his sword before plunging it into Emberlyn's chest.

Brazilian Bug Boy looked up at Emberlyn who was just smiling down at him. She pushed Brazilian Bug Boy away, and removed the sword from her chest, before tossing it aside.

"MY PRECIOUS SWORD!" Brazilian Bug Boy cried, running to grab his sword.

The hole in Emberlyn's chest healed, and the salmon said, "See. You have to kill me no matter what."

Octopus Man got up from the ground and said, "Not if we abandon Emberlyn. Come on guys, let's go." Floran turned to Octopus Man and gave him an icy glare.

Octopus Man put his hands up defensively. "Okay okay. I'm sorry." he said nervously.

Floran turned back to Emberlyn and said, "Wake up Emberlyn. I know you're in there somewhere."

"Ha! My mind control works on a fundamental level. You'll never wake her up!"

Overhearing this, Cutecumber looked up in confusion. "Wait, how were we all woken up then?" she asked. "BECAUSE MY SALMON FRIENDS DON'T TRY AS HARD AS I DO!" Emberlyn shouted.

Octopus Man nudged Kookakoo. "Hey, are you still dead?" he asked, with no response. "Damn it. She could rip out Emberlyn's eyes to save her."

Lusha walked up to Octopus Man and asked, "Why can't you just do it?" Octopus Man looked up at Lusha and replied, "I don't know the technique."

"Anyway. Time for a boss battle!" Emberlyn shouted, before running away. "Wait! Where are you going?" Floran shouted. Emberlyn climbed on top of Boomerang and laughed. "I'M GOING TO USE THIS DINOSAUR TO KILL ALL OF YOU!" she exclaimed.

"But Boomerang's asleep." Brazilian Bug Boy stated. Emberlyn looked down to see Boomerang sleeping peacefully. "But... he's mind controlled." she said to herself in confusion. "Yeah, but he's still asleep regardless." Brazilian Bug Boy replied.

"So, what am I supposed to do?" Emberlyn asked. Everyone else looked at each other a bit, before Cutecumber shrugged and said, "I don't know."

Emberlyn clicked her tongue in anger and hopped off of Boomerang. "Fine. I'll do it myself." she stated before bending over to grip the ground. She then lifted it up, causing them all to stumble back into the lake.

Floran held her breath and looked around. The lakes were literally silver. Octopus Man swam around before saying, "That salmon must have thrown us into a pocket dimension in the lake, that's why we are falling so deep."

Floran tried to reply, but when she inhaled, she started drowning and coughing. "Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you that I can talk here because I can breathe under water." Octopus Man stated, before swimming up to her.

"OXYGEN POWER!" he yelled before stuffing an oxygen tank down Floran's esophagus.

Floran then began breathing. "Damn you Octopus Man." she said with distain. There was a deafening silence for a few seconds. Octopus Man turned around to see Kookakoo's corpse floating beside them. "Aww man, I was waiting for Kookakoo to make fun of you. Too bad she's dead." he said sadly.

"We'll talk about that later, just give use your oxygen tank ability on everyone else before they die too!" Floran commanded. "Fine." Octopus Man said, stuffing an oxygen tank down Brazilian Bug Boy, Cutecumber, and Goose Man's throats. When he got to Lusha, she shook her head and said, "I trained in the art of breathing under water, so I'm fine. Octopus Man gave her a thumbs in in response.

Emberlyn then jumped into the pocket dimension with them. "Welcome to the Silver Lakes: Salmon Edition!" she shouted. "A world with a temporal flux. Meaning, time is so erratic, you can never use an ability against me, as I will always be in another timeline, even if I appear to be right in front of you." she explained.
