"What? Why are you guys helping us?" Floran shouted in confusion. U-VOL giggled to herself before replying, "You guys beat us fair and square. Why wouldn't we help? We aren't evil. We just do our jobs"
"Well, we barely won. We got 3 out of 5." Brazilian Bug Boy stated. "I WOULD HAVE WON IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT FIRE ANT!" Kookakoo shouted.
Grastonimus fell down the hole into the dungeon and started growing in size. "Woah, what's happening?" Emberlyn asked with a shaky voice.
"Make haste and mount the hen!" Sir Seepage commanded. The group did as he said and started climbing Gastronimus.
"Will my flames burn him?" Emberlyn asked as she climbed. "Unlikely. Lusha made your flames move upwards remember?" Floran responded. "And besides, Gastronimus is really powerful based on my experience fighting him." she concluded.
"Oh, so it would be okay if I did this." she said, before touching Gastronimus, causing him to instantly turn into a cooked chicken.
She froze in fear and her eyes swelled with tears. "I... I... I didn't mean to." she whimpered.
U-VOL burst out laughing and fell on her back, unable to control her laughter. Sir Seepage looked down the hole to the dungeon, concerned for Gastronimus.
"Now what?" Cutecumber asked is frustration. "WE DINE!" Octopus Man shouted, pulling out a fork and knife. Kookakoo does the same and they feast on Gastronimus.
Goose Man pushed them aside and said, "Stop for a second." He pulled out his hanger and turned it into a chicken generator, which created a new Gastronimus.
"There, now he's alive again." Goose Man said.
Lusha created a powerful gust of wind below Emberlyn, causing her to fly upwards. "AAH!" she screamed, unaware of what was happening.
"There, now you can float up without burning Gastronimus again." Lusha stated. Emberlyn floated out of the hole and landed next to U-VOL and Sir Seepage III.
"And speaking of that, I can just easily get out of here too" Lusha said, before thickening the air in front of her, making a staircase of air for herself.
As Lusha left, Floran shrugged and used her wings to fly out, as did Brazilian Bug Boy. As they landed on the top of the dungeon, Octopus Man and Kookakoo were already there somehow. "Hello." Octopus Man said. "How did... You know what, never mind." Floran said, rolling her eyes.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
Goose Man threw his hanger, creating an elevator that he used to get to the top.
Cutecumber climbed Gastronimus and sighed before saying, "So I'm the only one who doesn't have a way to get up there huh?"
Gastronimus flew upwards and landed on the roof of the dungeon. Cutecumber hopped off and Gastronimus reverted back to his original size.
"There, now let's get a move on!" U-VOL exclaimed with a big smile. Kookakoo walked up to her and poked her bandaged eye. "Poke." she said as she did so.
U-VOL slapped her hand away. "What are you doing blondie." she remarked. Kookakoo didn't respond, she just kept poking her bandaged eye.
"Where are we anyway?" Cutecumber asked. The world around them was nothing but a large blue sky. The dungeon they were standing on was just a large floating box.
"We're in the dungeon, duh." U-VOL responded, pushing Kookakoo away. "This doesn't look like a dungeon." Goose Man stated, looking upwards.
"Wait, didn't Acty say this was a different spacetime?" Brazilian Bug Boy asked. "Correct. Tis a different continuum entirely." Sir Seepage replied.
Octopus Man pulled out a door from his pockets and put in on the ground. "I found the way out!" he exclaimed. He then walked through the door, but he ended up appearing right where he was.
"What?" he asked, completely dumbfounded.
"Nice try, but Acty prepared for portal doors. He calls this world 'suprafinite'. Essentially, this world is endless, but unlike normal spacetimes, any measurement of distance is replaced by infinity, so trying to escape by using distance won't work." U-VOL explained.
Floran took a step forward and looked at U-VOL in confusion. "But I just moved. Doesn't that count as distance?" U-VOL shrugged. "You're just really fast I guess." she responded nonchalantly.
Octopus Man pulled out another door from his pocket. This was one red. "I found the way out guys!" he exclaimed once again. He walked through, and this time he ended back up back at the lobby of Acty's mansion.
The rest of them also walked through the door, and they were surprised when it actually worked. "This is preposterous. How is such a feat possible?" Sir Seepage asked in pure bewilderment. "The door was red." Octopus Man replied.
"How are you so smart John? Can't you teach me your ways." Kookakoo asked. "Don't call me by my real name in front of the chicken!" Octopus Man scolded. "Anyway, to be as smart as me, you have to be on another plane of existence. No, beyond planes of existence entirely. You need to achieve true nirvana." he concluded, explaining his intellect.
"Woah really? You have achieved nirvana?" Kookakoo asked, surprised. "Yes, when I was but a wee lad." he answered.
Cutecumber pointed forward and said, "I think we should finally confront Acty." U-VOL gave them a thumbs up and replied, "We'll leave it to you from here." Sir Seepage and Gastronimus nodded.
"Sir, they escaped." Kiaqua said to Acty. "WHAT!" he yelled in response. "NO WAY THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" he shouted.
Florbus grabbed Kiaqua's shoulders and shook her violently. "YOU'RE LYING RIGHT?" he asked desperately.
"No. I am not. Will you please release me?" she asked in her usual monotone voice. He let go and started crying. "Call the guards to stop them before they get back into the mansion!" Acty commanded.
Kiaqua looked at Acty with narrowed eyes and said, "About that..." just as the door behind them swung open, revealing Octopus Man and his group.
Acty went pale. "FLORBUS DO SOMETHING!" he commanded. Florbus was in a fetal position, sucking on his thumb while crying.
Pay to time!" Octopus Man said menacingly. "You messed up your line." Lusha stated. "I KNOW I MESSED UP MY LINE!" Octopus Man responded angrily.
