1 - An asteroid! Or is it...?

In a cozy living room, John sat on his worn-out couch, his eyes glued to the television screen. Little did he know that this mundane evening would soon take a bizarre turn.

As he aimlessly flipped through the channels, his thumb hovering over the remote, he heard an urgent tone of a breaking news alert. The sound alone was enough to make his heart race. The screen transitioned to a serious-looking news anchor, her expression filled with concern.

"Breaking news," she announced, her voice trembling slightly. "A colossal object is hurtling towards Earth at an alarming speed. Experts are calling it the 'Guacameteor,' as it bears an uncanny resemblance to an avocado."

John blinked in disbelief. An asteroid shaped like an avocado? He couldn't wrap his head around it. But there it was, a massive green mass hurtling through space towards his beloved planet.

Quickly, John leaped off his couch and dashed to his closet. He rummaged through his collection of old blankets until he found his trusty red blanket. In this moment, he wasn't just John anymore; he was Octopus Man, the hero the world never knew it needed.

But Octopus Man knew that no hero is complete without a sidekick. He reached for the plush toy octopus sitting on top of his bookshelf. Octopus Man placed it firmly on his head like a helmet, the octopus's tentacles draping over his forehead.

With his makeshift cape and his trusty octopus perched on his head, Octopus Man stood in his living room, ready to save the day.

Octopus Man flew through the night sky, his trusty octopus helmet holding firm on his head. As he soared closer to the Guacameteor, he realized that stopping this bizarre, avocado-shaped asteroid might require more than just a cape and a plush toy sidekick.

Drawing on his best superhero voice, Octopus Man bellowed at the Guacameteor, "Hey, you stupid meteor! You're ugly!"

His words echoed through space, but the Guacameteor remained unfazed. In fact, it seemed to respond with a menacing rumble, as if the asteroid itself were growling in irritation. The avocado-shaped rock's descent towards Earth only seemed to accelerate.

Maybe hurling insults at an asteroid wasn't the most brilliant strategy after all. He realized that he had just made the situation worse. The Guacameteor was now hurtling towards Earth with even greater speeds, as if it had taken Octopus Man's taunts as a challenge.

Octopus Man realized he couldn't rely on words to deter this cosmic threat. Reaching behind his back, Octopus Man felt a familiar and reassuring weight. It was his trusty avocado-killing sword, a weapon he had forgotten he had. He unsheathed the gleaming blade.

Octopus Man gripped his sword tightly, knowing that this was his moment to shine. With a swift and powerful strike, he swung the blade through the asteroid's surface.

To his surprise, the Guacameteor split apart, but not in the way he had expected. Instead of shattering into fragments that harmlessly dissipated into space, the avocado-shaped asteroid fractured into five equally sized Guacameteors.

Octopus Man panicked as he realized the gravity of his mistake. He had multiplied the problem rather than solving it. But he was not one to give up easily.

Despite the increasing odds stacked against him, Octopus Man continued his efforts. he continued to slice at them, but the Guacameteors multiplied into 10, then 20, and soon there were exactly 623 of them hurtling through space.

In a moment of sheer terror, Octopus Man let out a scream of despair that echoed through the cosmos. His cry was filled with such anguish and desperation that it seemed to reverberate throughout the universe.

To his surprise, when his scream reached the ears of the Guacameteors, they recoiled in pain. It turns out that the avocados had ears, or something resembling them. Octopus Man's scream had been so piercing, so deafening, that it had caused the Guacameteors physical discomfort.

The Guacameteors, now in pain, scattered in all directions, retreating into the vastness of space. Octopus Man's scream driven by fear had inadvertently saved the day.

With the Guacameteors gone, Octopus Man hovered in space, catching his breath. He had come dangerously close to causing the end of the world. But in the end, it was his determination, courage... actually no it wasn't, it was his scream that had saved the world.
