23 - The Tower

Floran looks at Lusha with a skeptical glare. "How do we know you're not lying to us?' she asked.

Lusha just laughed, and suddenly, they were no longer in the capital building of Landland. They were now in a completely different area. Octopus Man, who was munching on a biscuit, asked, "Hey, what is this place?"

Lusha turned around and explained, "As I said, I watch over all planets. When the first planet was born, I was born. Think of it as a conceptual thing. If planets are perceived to exist, I exist."

"Thanks, that really answers my question." Octopus Man said in a sarcastic tone. "I'M GETTING THERE!" Lusha shouted. She then cleared her through at continued speaking. "Anyway, as I was saying, I watch over planets and can teleport people to any planet I wish. That is what I just did."

Floran looked around. The planet had a bright sky, but the ground was grey, and all the trees were completely black. "So... how does this prove we can trust you?" she asked.

Lusha turned back around with a grin, once again exposing her sharp teeth. "Come with me and I'll show you." she said. Floran was hesitant, but Octopus Man and Kookakoo instantly started skipping along with Lusha. "Wait! Aren't you guys suspicious at all?" Floran shouted.

Kookakoo turned around with a angry expression. "Floran, how dare you judge Lusha! She gave you a place to stay during your darkest hours." she said. "What?" Floran replied, her face filled with confusion.

As Octopus Man and Kookakoo kept walking with Lusha, Floran sighed, realizing she would have no choice but to follow as well. However, right before she started walking with them, she turned around to see Cutecumber still there. She had been teleported along with them.

"So, what are you gonna do?" Floran asked with an angry tone in her voice. Cutecumber just sat there silently. "Whatever." Floran concluded, before catching up to Lusha. Cutecumber was left behind with a sad look in her eyes.

As Octopus Man, Kookakoo, and Floran followed Lusha, they saw a tower in the distance. Once they arrived at the tower, Lusha turned to Octopus Man with a smirk and said, "Go ahead. Touch the wall of the tower.

Without any hesitation Octopus Man ran up to touch the wall. The very instant his skin touched the wall, he was reduced to atoms. Floran stared in shock. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED!" she yelled. Just then a T-Rex came from the distance, and spat Octopus Man out, before walking back to from where it came. "Wow, that was crazy." Octopus Man said.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

Lusha just giggled and said, "This tower is called the Tower of Braccas. To even step inside, you need to be a higher dimensional being, which is why he died from touching it." Floran shook her head before saying, "That doesn't make any sense, I'm 16th dimensional, Octopus Man ate a 17th dimensional barrier, and Kookakoo destroyed a 43rd dimensional realm. How are we too weak to enter?"

"Ooooh, what a shame. This tower is 44th dimensional." Lusha said. Floran just rolled her eyes.

Lusha then looked at them intently and began to speak again. "Anyway, each level of the tower is actually a higher dimension. To access the higher levels, you must defeat the bosses that inhabit each floor. Defeating them will give you enough power to access the higher levels." Kookakoo then asked, "Wait, how do we even enter then?" Floran was shocked Kookakoo asked a coherent question for once.

Lusha just smiled, her eyes glowing. "You need to defeat me."

Octopus Man casually walked up to Lusha and punched head off. Her body collapsed to the ground. "Okay guys, let's go in." he said nonchalantly. Kookakoo nodded with a smile. "Wait, it's that easy?" Floran asked in disbelief.

Just then Lusha reappeared from the sky, crashing down to earth, causing the ground beneath her to shatter. "No. It's not that easy." she said. "Remember, I exist cause planets exist. Even if all planets were to be destroyed, if the idea of a planet exists, I will also exist." she concluded.

300 + 300 = 600!" Kookakoo shouted, causing an explosion that incinerated Lusha into nothingness. However, Lusha reappeared once again, this time behind Kookakoo. She grabbed Kookakoo by the back of her neck and through her into Octopus Man, causing them both to fall to the ground.

Floran stared at Lusha with a narrow gaze. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted you." she said. Lusha laughed loudly before replying. "Why not? I'm helping you. If you can defeat me you are one step closer to the tower. The tower is the key to the Triune."

Floran was shocked to hear this information, but she didn't show it. She quickly ran up to Lusha and materialized an energy sword like usual. She attempted to strike, but Lusha just smiled and outstretched her arm, causing the sword to stop moving. "Planets have gravity and air. I can manipulate those things too." Lusha said.

Floran was surprised Lusha could create a forcefield out of nothing but air and gravity that was strong enough to withstand her sword. Floran materialized a floating sword behind Lusha and used her telekinetic abilities to strike her, but once again, the sword couldn't pierce through the gravity shield.

"You know, I have this shield around be at all times. Nothing can go through it." Lusha said confidently. Just then Floran found it hard to breath. "Oh, you thought I could manipulate air around me huh?" Lusha said smiling.

Lusha then pointed to Floran. It seemed like a simple action, but all air had been removed from Floran's lungs. She was about to faint, but suddenly Octopus Man walked right through Lusha's gravity shield and tapped her shoulder.

Lusha looked at Octopus Man in a mix of shock and fear. "What? How did you get in here?" she yelled. Ocotpus Man looked up at her with puppy dog eyes. "Do you have any biscuits. I ran all out."

Lusha punched Octopus Man in the face, but he didn't move an inch. "Umm Lusha, that's your fist, not a biscuit” he said. Lusha's shock turned into excitement. Maybe he really could beat the Triune after all.
