The skeleton stood up and bowed to him before continuing on its way, as if nothing had happened.
Although Kawao was shocked, he noticed its clothing. It was wearing the same cloak as Kunojo and the bishop! He recognized it by the strange triangular symbol, which he had already seen on the others. Until now, he hadn't had the time to examine it closely, but he would recognize it anywhere.
He followed the skeleton and placed his hand on its bony shoulder.
"Wait a moment!" he called out.
The skeleton turned around again.
"Hm?"
At that moment, a sharp object whizzed just past Kawao's nose and embedded itself in the wall next to him.
It was a small blade! Kunojo had found him!
"Get to safety, Reaper!" she said calmly, as she slowly approached the two of them.

"Alright!"
Without hesitation, the Reaper ran off.
"Hey, wait!" Kawao shouted after him and began to chase him again.
"And why are you chasing him? Want to thank him for healing you?"
Kunojo was now truly annoyed as she pursued the two.
"Healed? HE healed me?"
"Well, who do you think else has a Nyd capable of healing such wounds?"
"How would I know? I don’t even know your Nyds!"
"You're really starting to get on my nerves! Well, now I just want to fight you even more!" she yelled, throwing more knives at him.
But Kawao was prepared!
He had drawn a fine energy field around himself to sense attacks in time. However, he hadn’t yet mastered the technique well enough, so he could only react instinctively when one of the knives penetrated the field. Still, it was enough for him to dodge effortlessly while running.
"You’ve learned since our last encounter! I like that. Well, I guess I’ll have to take this a bit more seriously, right?"
Suddenly, he felt a long, sharp object pierce his field. Thanks to a quick sidestep, he managed to dodge.
But he collided with a wall and had to stop, which the Reaper used to escape out of his reach.
'What was that?' he wondered.
His question would soon be answered. When he glanced at his pursuer, he immediately knew what had attacked him. A long, sharp, insectoid arm covered in blades had grown from Kunojo’s back. And three more were slowly sprouting.
"Now I’ve got your attention!"
"What the hell are you?"
"I’m a hunting nun who has just found her prey!" she said gleefully, licking her lips.
