Burning Revenge
80: Finale!

80: Finale!

Kawao engaged in a rapid chase with his opponent through the labyrinthine streets of Kurani.

People fled in panic as the two battled.

Hino’s arms were almost completely covered with red claws and spikes.

His Hell Claws became more dangerous with each use.

Even so, Kawao found it easy to dodge them.

But he quickly realized that the fight couldn’t last much longer.

He needed to end it before it was too late and he lost any chance of victory.

With newfound determination, Kawao went back on the offensive.

He effortlessly dodged the attacks and launched a counterattack.

Unexpectedly, Hino blocked it with his leg, which was rapidly growing claws and spikes.

Kawao had to retreat!

But he knew he wouldn’t be allowed to.

So he engaged in a deadly close combat with a crazed fire spirit.

It became significantly harder to dodge the increasingly fast attacks.

‘I need to find an opening!’

Suddenly, spikes grew from Hino’s chest and shot small but powerful fireballs at him.

He couldn’t dodge them in time and was hurled through several houses, finally coming to a stop on a balcony railing.

But he had no time to rest, as more fireballs soon shot through the smoke from the collapsed buildings.

With impressive precision, Kawao dodged them all.

However, the house to which the balcony belonged was destroyed.

But he didn’t care at the moment.

Hino flew directly at him, ready to smash him through the next few blocks.

At the last moment, Kawao jumped into the air and watched his opponent crash into the collapsing house.

Shortly after, more projectiles shot at him.

Again, he managed to dodge them all.

Except for one, which sent him crashing back to the ground.

With a bang, he landed in the marketplace of Kurani.

This was the largest open space in the city.

Perfect for ending this.

Shortly after, Hino landed a few meters in front of him.

With all the spikes and claws growing out of his body, he almost looked like a human hedgehog.

“You do not disappoint me! That’s good!”

“Maybe we should wrap this up.”

“Why? We’re just getting started!”

A loud rushing sound was heard.

Hino’s claws extended in his direction.

With a soft but increasingly loud hiss, they focused their fireballs on a single point.

Kawao instantly understood what this meant.

‘If that thing hits the city, hundreds will die! I have to stop it!’

He focused all his energy into his hands.

After a brief moment, Hino fired his deadly fireball.

With a tremendous roar, it zoomed towards Kawao, who managed to catch it with his hands at the last moment.

But the fire was too strong.

With a final burst of energy, he hurled the ball high into the air.

He let his energy flow into it as well.

The fireball now shimmered somewhat white due to the energy.

With his very last bit of strength, Kawao began to control the energy in the ball and sent it back to its sender.

Hino was extremely surprised before his own projectile hit him, tearing the entire square apart in an explosion.
