He hit the ground hard but quickly got back up, ready to attack again. Before he could react, the tank was already bearing down on him.

The tank slowly turned around again.

Now he stood directly in front of the tank. The barrel aimed straight at him.

For a moment, neither moved.

Then Kawao took the first step.

"So what now? Are you going to shoot me?" he shouted at them.

There were some clattering sounds.

Suddenly, a fist-sized fireball shot out of the barrel at immense speed.

He tried to dodge, but just before it reached him, the ball suddenly began to grow.

When the ball hit Kawao, it was already too late. It had grown larger than he was in a split second.

With tremendous force, the ball exploded, sending him flying.

He crashed through a wall and found himself back outside in the forest. He hit the ground hard and rolled several meters before coming to a stop.

"What... what was that?" he gasped, before hearing the faint clattering of the slowly approaching behemoth once again.
