Burning Revenge
75: Stage One!

75: Stage One!

“The technique with which you almost defeated Paikon? I thought you killed him!”

“Not without help!”

“Hm… Never mind. I should knock you out before you use something like that!”

“Try it.”

Full of rage, Fetu rushed at him and swung for a punch.

But Kawao made no effort to dodge.

Fetu struck.

With little effort, Kawao rolled under the blow and came to his feet, limping.

“How did you manage that?”

“That remains a secret.”

He continued to attack him.

But every time, Kawao dodged by a hair’s breadth.

‘This guy is already half dead! How can he dodge so easily?’

With each attack he evaded, Kawao moved faster and more confidently.

He began gathering energy again!

Over time, a faint grayish aura slowly appeared around him.

‘I must stop him before he finishes!’ Fetu decided.

With a wave of his arm, he burned all the trash in the alley to ashes.

He gathered the resulting flames with another hand motion around his right fist.

“Prepare for your end!” he shouted and charged at him.

Kawao still stood motionless.

But now, he was in a dead-end.

He could no longer dodge!

But he didn’t need to anymore.

Just before Fetu’s blow reached him, Kawao looked deeply into his eyes.

This startled Fetu, but he didn’t stop his blow.

Despite everything, he didn’t hit.

Kawao simply leaned his head to the side.

His fist narrowly missed his face.

But despite the immense heat he radiated, it seemed as if it didn’t bother him at all.

He even looked completely different.

The aura around him was now very distinct.

Swirling around him with a mercury-like gray tone.

His muscles tensed almost to the limit and his normally short hair now reached his shoulders, taking on a strong silver hue.

They almost blinded one.

Even his eyes had a slight grayish shimmer.

Fetu immediately knew that this new technique meant big trouble.

He instinctively retreated a few meters, but Kawao didn’t distance himself from him.

No matter how fast he ran, his opponent was always equally close to him.

He got goosebumps all over his body.

“Grey Kick!” Kawao said quietly and delivered a brutal kick to his ribs.

This time he could hear them breaking loudly.

But before he could even scream, Kawao followed up with an uppercut that sent him a good two meters into the air.

He felt like he was about to lose consciousness.

“Grey Punch!”

With a targeted blow to the stomach, he sent Fetu flying.

It felt as if he had been tied to a rocket before he began to fall and landed with a loud crash on a rooftop.

Now he finally had the time to scream.

“AAAAAAAAAAHH!!!” he roared in agony as he tried to move.

But his body no longer obeyed him.

Instead, he spat blood.

And not just a little.

He became fearful.

Would he be able to survive this?

Kawao landed a few meters away from him and looked at him.

“It took a while, but I finally mastered the technique. It’s called ‘Grey Glare.’”
