E1-77-Rumbo a la celebración

The young hero left the market with excitement, wearing his new glasses, and headed towards the school. It was the first time Adam realized how useful godfathers were for librarians. In all previous instances when he "won" something, they were things he couldn't use, like magical books or things that went unnoticed, like karma. However, these glasses were real, and the effects chosen by his godfather seemed super useful for Adam. The boy was thrilled to try and find some non-white footprint on the ground, hoping to discover a secret creature.

Nevertheless, as the young hero climbed the stairs, all he could see were white footprints covering every inch of the marble steps. Feeling a bit disappointed for not finding anything special, Adam stopped on the stairs to rest and ask his godfather if he knew anything about the stone bookshelf and why the merchant said he had to live in a tough era.

His godfather quickly responded, which meant he was angry with the question:

'Do you know how many millennia an era is for a bookshelf, kid? Don't worry and don't bother knowing the truth of that useless story! Right now, your only concerns should be getting the black robe and learning the secrets of your positive karma. That's what you should worry about, as I know nothing about the path of the heroes, and ignorance is costly in this library. Your eyes may hold several secrets, some of which could save your life or condemn you to death. You must uncover these secrets on your own! Also, I don't want the next change in your body to be something unknown that might end up getting you killed for seeking attention from others: Be cautious and find out everything!'

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Adam didn't know whether to follow this advice or not. He knew his godfather was paranoid, but this time, he seemed quite sure that the matter of the stone bookshelf was of little importance.

The boy had never seen a bookshelf cry, so he didn't think it was nonsense. But his godfather was right about the relativity of time: The last time a bookshelf warned Adam to be careful, it took years before he could notice the problems arising from the bookshelf war.

As Adam slowly ascended the steps, he kept pondering the matter. He stumbled more than a few times due to the bright white steps, but he refused to take off his glasses; he wanted to get used to them as soon as possible.

The interesting thing about this magical object was that Adam never knew if the next step would show the footprint of a hidden creature, which motivated him to never take off the glasses and keep trying his luck to see if he could find a treasure that others couldn't see.

Finally, Adam arrived at the school, but he didn't find anything on the way. The first thing he noticed was that the footprints of the little books living in the school were nowhere to be found. He realized one of the major problems of blindly following this magical object was that many creatures didn't necessarily move using their feet and thus left no footprints on the ground.

Considering the time, Adam should have been late, so he hurried a bit to have enough time to complete the celebration of his 100 pages. The young hero didn't know how long it would take for the celebration to be completed, but he still remembered spending a few hours reading the first ten pages during his first celebration.
