This was supposed to be the Utility Box, and his past self must have used 10 points to buy the mushrooms that provide light.
Understanding the purpose of this furniture, Adam deduced that the coffin should be the box to improve armors. To check his idea, the young man approached the coffin but didn't quite understand how it worked. Just in case, he got inside and closed the lid, but it didn't seem to work either. Adam supposed that all of this would be explained and could be used once he earned the points, which he still didn't know how to earn.
Since there wasn't much else to investigate in the bunker, Adam agilely climbed the stairs and reached the surface. He quickly ran to the area where the bonfire was. The young man wasn't sure if everything was identical to his previous trip to the past, but he knew one constant: all crucial clues were left near the bonfire.
As a rat, Adam ran at a much faster speed than a human, so he quickly reached the bonfire. Upon arrival, the first thing he did was place his wooden box on top of the trunk.
Adam planned to use this place to start building his defenses, and it was best to prepare it now before investigating anything else. The turret took some time to build, and if he didn't have it ready when the attacks started, he'd be in trouble.
After placing the box on the trunk, Adam placed his palm on the wooden box, and each plank began to rotate and move in different directions until it formed a turret. The turret had only one cannon and fired one shot at a time, not very rapidly, unfortunately.
The ammunition wasn't infinite, so Adam had to use the initial points to buy more ammunition in the utility closet. Fortunately, the turret came with a magazine of 250 bullets, and it was easily reloaded.

Another issue with his race was that the box only had the pieces to create one turret, and he would also need to buy spare parts to create another one. So, whatever happened, he had to make this turret work until he had the points to get the spare parts.
When the turret finished building, the wooden box fell onto the trunk, and the turret began to rotate, automatically searching for targets. Feeling a bit safer, Adam surveyed his surroundings. Everything seemed the same as his previous trip to the past. The bonfire was lit, illuminating the surroundings, and a laurel branch was also burning in the bonfire.
As mentioned before, the trunk was still there, and it didn't seem like there was much more information available nearby. So, Adam took advantage of this time to start building a sand wall around the bonfire. With his rat paws and hands, the young man began to dig in the sand, finding the task unusually easy and instinctive.
His turrets could fire; there was a race that used pistols and another race that used bows, so it was highly probable that there were enemies who could also attack from a distance. As a result, Adam was preparing to face them by building a sand barricade. His strategy would be to keep the turrets as safe as possible while they took care of attacking the enemies.
Before he could finish the sand wall that defended the back, Adam began to hear crunching sounds coming from the sea, and four people approached the coast, just like in his previous trip to the past. Adam carefully watched as the four men corrupted by the sea approached, waving their swords randomly.
*Pew*... As soon as one of the men touched the shore, the turret shot at its head, causing it to collapse to the ground. The turret stopped rotating, and its cannon swayed from side to side over another man's head until it finally aimed at the man's head and fired to bring down the enemy.
*Pew*... A hole formed in the corrupted man's head, and he fell to the ground; the creature had only taken a few steps on the coast. At this rate, everything would be done automatically, so Adam decided to buy time and ran back to the bunker without waiting for the obvious outcome.
When he reached the bunker, Adam saw that around the rat statue were four gold coins twinkling due to the effect of his lenses.
