The boy looked around and remembered that he was in a flat full of lunatics. Running with what was left of his strength, he headed for the stairs, then slowly ascended and reached the cave.

After such an adventure, the corridors of the lower 5th floor seemed to be much calmer and more peaceful, from time to time you heard some meaningless scream, and it was not so rare to come across a man hitting his head against a book. But this landscape was already familiar to Adam, so he felt safe walking through these corridors.

Without much trouble, Adam managed to get to the cave of the old man without eyes. But before he could say anything to him, the eyeless old man came out to greet him with infinite joy. He had a cone on his head and a birthday whistle in his mouth. With a loud cry, the old man greeted Adam euphorically:

— You did it, hero, you got your third magic book! It's impressive, I've never gotten so many books in such a short time!

Adam felt a little happy, at least he was coming home after a long day struggling to be greeted by a smile that brought great joy to his heart. Joy that didn't last long, because he remembered the bear's words: the book could be cursed. With some hesitation, Adam asked:

—Isn't there anything unusual in the book? His appearance is a bit scary.

—Who cares about appearances, what matters is the content—answered the eyeless old man with a smile from ear to ear.

Adam's delighted smile faded a little.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

But the boy decided to believe that the bear had planned something to turn him against the eyeless old man, so he was going to tell him what the bear told him.

However, before he could say anything, the eyeless old man continued:

—It's a pity that it's in the language of the lower floors. It's a pity that your father forced you to learn such a useless language as that of the middle floors! They only work on those 5 wooden floors, and little else is useful.

Adam was surprised. His father had told him that the best future he could have was mastering the language of the middle floor, he never explained why, and he didn't want to talk about it either. The boy always assumed that he was the most frequent. But according to the eyeless old man, his father had been wrong. The eyeless old man continued with a very cheerful voice, saying:

—But don't worry, hero! You can always learn the language of the lower floors, in fact I have a learning book on my shelves, you can read it if you want!

Adam saw, and the old man wasn't lying, apparently there was a red cover book on the shelves. It was in one of the corners, somewhat hidden, so Adam guessed that he had never seen it. He was going to take it. But he remembered that he was already in the 80 pages of the yellow book, however useless the language was at least he would give him the black robe and Adam wanted to get the black robe as soon as possible.

Once he got it, he would go back to his father's house and proudly show it off. In time, Adam had forgiven him, or rather: understood. It wasn't his father's fault that he had become a lunatic.

The eyeless old man noticed that Adam was not taking the red book, so he said calmly:

—Whenever you want, you can take it, boy. Although the book alone is useless: I could teach you to read the language. You earned it for getting me 3 magic books!

Adam was excited and nodded several times. Once one finished school, learning another language was a terribly difficult challenge. But if the eyeless old man helped him, it would be easier. Tiredly, Adam went into the cave and got ready to rest for the next big day of adventures.
