Upon entering, Adam went to the lake of the cave and looked at his eyes, he was surprised with what he saw: since his eyes had lost their color and were now silver, it was a strange silver, one that was moving through his pupils already. Sometimes he escapes from them, which is a bit shocking to see.
—Certainly, you have plenty of reasons to be surprised—Said the old man looking—It's a level of karma that hasn't been seen on these floors for a long time. Which is unfortunate, but such is the current society of librarians.
—Are they of any use?—Adam asked, peering into his reflection, trying to see if there was anything more abnormal about his eyes.
—Yes, that level of karma is already useful—answered the eyeless old man, he seemed more collaborative than usual—You could say that you went from having points in your eyes to having silver eyes. In general, this does not happen, because people use the points in the eyes to be able to commit negative actions and still maintain a neutral karma.
—And what's the use?—Adam asked.
—Ask your godfather or read general knowledge books—the bookshelf answered, it seemed that she wasn't yet so collaborative as to continue answering questions—I'd like to help you, but giving answers in a simple way doesn't help.

Adam followed the advice and told his godfather about the situation.
His godfather answered:
'Find a general knowledge book for the details; I don't know much about good karma.
Now, the important thing is that you go to the market to buy some glasses that cover your eyes. If people see that you are good: they will take advantage of you. If people see that you are bad: they will make your life easier.
Do you remember the light blue face: what expression did he have on his face?'
Adam thought about it for a while, but luckily he remembered the faces on the shelves well and replied: 'The celestial face had a sad expression'
His godfather crossed out what Adam wrote, as if seeking to further establish his idea, and replied: '
'That's another of the two-faced bookshelf's secrets, and it's a warning that says, 'Being good at this library is only going to make you sad.'
But that's the right path for these times, Adam.
Or rather: it is the path you have been taking during these 17 years of your life'
Adam got to thinking about it at this point in life it was natural for him to be good and there was no point in considering not being good.
General knowledge books were not very difficult to obtain, and you could ask for them from some shelves in exchange for completing some simple task. Another way to get them was in the market.
These types of books are the ones that are sold in the market bookstores, many people bought them because they were very useful to solve more complicated puzzles and thus obtain better books.
For people like Adam who did not lack money, it was better to use it to skip the tasks of this shelf of these types of books. The same thing happened with food, you could also get it off the shelves, but with money you could skip these things.
