E1-136-Ahora entiendo por que fue tan complicado....

*Piuu*...*Piuu*... *Piuu*... Three holes pierced the belly of a giant, fat man as he slowly approached the distant bonfire. The man's skin was gray and quite greasy, oozing a sticky white liquid from his pores, giving off a terrible stench. The creature stood as tall as a tree, with algae growing on its back and legs covered in parasitic corals. In one of its hands, it held a rusted hook that swayed rhythmically as the giant man walked, waiting for an opportunity to impale the young hero.

Ignoring the shots fired at him, the giant man continued to advance at a slow pace, seemingly unaffected by the bullets as they were absorbed by his greasy skin.

From a distance, Adam noticed the problem: this was his 20th wave, and he knew he was done for. His wooden box could only control three turrets automatically, and the fourth turret would be inactive as a reserve until one of the others was destroyed.

This limitation was hindering Adam; although he had built a beautiful barricade, the giant man could simply walk over it and destroy all his turrets. Due to the giant's slow pace, he couldn't catch Adam and kill him.

But the young hero wouldn't have time to build more turrets with the giant man chasing him, so he could only run until a faster enemy appeared in the waves and killed him.

Unlike the previous 20 waves, there was only one enemy in this battle, but this enemy could devour the turret bullets as if they were rubber pellets, leaving Adam with no way to defeat the giant.

Incredibly, the young hero didn't panic about his imminent death. Instead, he ran through the trenches he had built and left the fort of sandbags, wires, and spikes. His quick-thinking mind understood that his entire fortress would soon be destroyed, and now the most important thing was to prepare for the future.

The most valuable information he had gathered in these 20 battles was that there would be at most 30 waves until the bonfire went out: the moment when the king would likely appear, and the final showdown would begin. On this new journey through the past, it seemed that the bonfire would go out at the last wave, not indicating the beginning, but rather marking the end of the magical adventure or the ultimate challenge.

Perhaps this was the strategy chosen by his past self to defeat the king: the strategy of dying and accumulating information until becoming invincible. For example, the information that this enemy couldn't be defeated with good defenses and required a strong offense.

However, the current Adam understood that this strategy chosen by his past self would be futile. He realized that the book wanted him to understand its moral, rather than playing a game of fixed rules. Therefore, this wasn't a game of surviving waves; it was a story with a moral, and the game was won when the book confirmed that Adam had learned the lesson.

Consequently, the book would find an excuse to kill Adam, changing the waves as many times as necessary to ensure that the young hero truly grasped how to make the most of his past. When Adam no longer doubted that he had to use his past to survive, then the book would make the waves simple and let him leave with his skills.

That's why Adam was forced to speak in code with his past self: it wasn't the king who would destroy the clues; it was the book that sought to ensure that only a little information was passed on to his future self, and the rest had to be rediscovered by Adam.

He had recently verified this, as he had left several clues that had now disappeared from the island. Therefore, the book was warning him that he couldn't simply create a survival manual.

Moreover, the next important clue Adam had found was that the ancient wizard was nowhere to be found on the island. So, it was very likely that he would be the real final enemy the young hero would have to face. However, the ancient wizard would be sent from the future to the past when the bonfire went out again.

The young hero ran towards the bunker; he had to search for something he had saved for his last wave. However, it seemed he wouldn't last that long, so it was better to use it now. As he descended into the bunker, he found several new pieces of furniture, but that was unimportant now. The only relevant thing at the moment was a metal plate he had left on top of the rat statue.

This plate would trigger Adam finding the bunker in the future; he obtained it after surviving his 10th wave, and it was the biggest help given by the book. According to his estimation, this plate would allow him to send any information he wanted to the future. The rest of the clues had to be hidden and later found by the seeker of clues in his glasses.

Most importantly, if there was help after the 10th wave, there might be some in the 20th wave, but this time Adam wouldn't be able to find out. The young hero quickly wrote a message on the plate using his claws and ran towards the bonfire to throw it into the flames.

Upon reaching the bonfire area, Adam noticed that the giant man was destroying the entire base, but he didn't care and ran towards the bonfire.

Seeing the rat approaching with speed, the giant man changed his target and, with agility disproportionate to his size, impaled Adam's stomach with the hook, giving the young hero no time to react.

*Sukishiii*... A strange sound came from Adam's mouth due to the pain. But with his last strength, the young hero threw the plate into the bonfire.

Immediately after, the giant man lifted Adam, trapped on his hook, and threw him into his mouth.

*Crush*...*Crush*...Desperately, the young hero tried to die quickly as he was cruelly chewed.
