After walking through a few hallways and climbing some stairs, Adam arrived at the school. But the boy felt quite embarrassed to enter the classroom and have to say that he was late again, and to top it off, he hadn't done his homework.
Nevertheless, Adam had come a long way to get to the classroom, and there was no turning back now. So, summoning his courage, Adam pushed the door and said:
— I'm sorry, teacher, I'm running late!
"..." Adam looked around somewhat bewildered: there was no one in the classroom!
Not knowing what to do, Adam walked to the desk he had used in the last class.
Adam placed his box with old shoes on the desk and sat down, waiting for time to pass. But nothing happened, so Adam dozed off on the bench; he was quite tired from waking up early today.
Time passed, and Adam had fallen asleep when he suddenly heard a scream that jolted him awake in fear. Then, Adam remembered that he wasn't on the lower floors and looked at the source of the scream without so much fear:
— Aquiles, I have a question! — said a girl with a dominant voice, dressed in white robes — Where did that lazy guy go? Doesn't he want to work? Who are you?
The girl had blond hair and violet eyes. Adam was surprised to see the girl's eyes, as the outline of her eyes was somewhat black like his father's. The girl seemed to be around the same age as Adam. What stood out the most was that despite her age, the girl had tattoos all over her arms: colorful tattoos of animals and flowers that Adam had never seen before, but they were very, very striking.

— I'm Adam... — Adam replied somewhat nervously. It wasn't the first time he had seen a girl, but it was the first time a girl had spoken to him. — I'm also waiting for the teacher.
— Waiting for Aquiles? — the girl said, staring at Adam intently, making him even more shy. — What do you mean, waiting for him? This is his job! Let's kick the director's door until he gives us a real teacher!
The girl approached Adam and took him by the arm, pushing him to follow her. With not much choice, Adam followed the girl, feeling somewhat nervous. Adam didn't know the other kids were so violent; no wonder the guards looked at him strangely on the bench.
The girl dragged Adam through the hexagon's hallways until they reached a wooden door with beautiful patterns engraved all over its surface and a metal plaque inscribed with the name: Cesar.
Bomm... The girl literally kicked the director's door, but when it didn't open, she looked at Adam expectantly.
Not knowing what to do in this situation, Adam decided to follow the girl and started kicking the door with her; he didn't want to upset his classmate.
Bomm...Bomm...Bomm... The door was violently kicked by the two children until an elderly man in a red robe opened it.
Adam was almost about to faint; he hadn't expected that the same old man he had encountered on the stairs earlier would be the school's principal, and he certainly couldn't process that he had just kicked a door belonging to someone wearing such a striking robe.
— What happened now, Sofia? — said Cesar with a smile; he didn't seem very upset with the children who had been kicking his office door a moment ago.
—It's Aquiles, that's what happened! — the girl shouted angrily — He's supposed to be our teacher! But he's never here!
— It's alright, no need to be impatient... — said Cesar with a smile of a trustworthy grandfather — Come into my office; the hallways are not a good place to discuss.
