They Who Remember War were visited and She Who Flies brought food, as they often forgot to sustain themselves, but she needed old layouts and map of the hive.

One had them, He Inquired Why?

One existed in an old pod, and had awoken from long stupor recently. She found a location map made by that one, but she could not trace it.

He Who Remember The Hive, questioned the thoughts of that one. But She Who Flies is working in her role. She Who Flies was working in her old role as She Who Remembers Where Things Are. Is it not the role of they who remember war to supply memories retrieved?

It was, and the others understand the nature of the request. She shall have the maps, and she shall bring the lost one here.

It is her role to lead, if the lost one needs to see them she will. Otherwise, she shall visit. She shall feed. And she shall perform a request if payment is supplied. They Who Remember War, need missing roles if this one has them... She reordered her thoughts. Can they supply missing role?

They cannot.

Then she cannot bring the lost one here until missing roles have been found again. May she have the map?

And they gave it to her. And gathered together. Which of them would visit They Who Remember War?

She Who Flies left They Who Remember The Dead. That was unsettling. She was glad she didn't visit them first, it does not seem like they would have given her the map if she had.

And that is strange, they acted far differently the last time she visited. But the others were right, they would not exchange for it, but they expected all to act in their role. Little thanks for the food, but they gave the map when reminded of their role.

No matter. They will compare the maps and find this elusive She Who Sleeps.

I repaired the new Sail-glider and was examining the shard from She Who Sleeps when Wur returned.

We reached to each other and...

She brought maps.

But a map a location-finder-tracer. What was it, there were directions in the shard but...

Oh, a map was a collection of paths carved into a shard-like material. It had some detail with feel, and the outside was shard with some thoughts regarding details. But it's a complex perspective. He probably wouldn't understand it.

But he understands movement and time.

It's not exactly movement and time. The same perspective that made him better at Sight gave him the wrong perspective for this even if he was in a field that made sense of such information.

Could He Who Sees understand this?

Yes but he struggled to make these, he helped others adjust them.

So they are going to see what is She Who Sleeps now?

And they did.

He Who Delivers Parcels. Delivers food as well. A recent expansion to his role. But one that profits both him and the hive overall. A task some forget, consuming sustenance more often increases productivity. And the amount available has increased significantly in recent times. So to be more efficient, more perishable supplies were consumed to build and secure the more vulnerable ones. At least until the missing roles were acquired.

But for him, knowing of the missing roles was an inefficient waste. Yet he was made to do so regardless. It was not his role to manage such things, He simply delivered parcels. And to better act in his role, he delivered food as well.

He reached for one of the ones nearby. Is He Who Flies, he added some detail to the thought, here?

He is in stupor.

There is a shard for him, delivered from She Who Remembers.

They would save it for him, gratitude,

They would? he inquired,

They would, and they shared thoughts of he who flies.

It matches the delivery, any of them require sustenance?

They were not sure.

So he went in checked delivered sustenance, and stored the strings given as recompense to his pod.

So he continues on his way.

So they traveled through ha flow tunnel, stopped at a tassel, flew back to the previous tassel. Then flew half the length. They searched for a structure of the hive, found it, and used it to orient themselves to find another one that is near.

They found a path between structures, to a pod built into structures, and there, they finally found what they hopped was She Who Sleeps.

Wur reached for her. And there was an attempt at communication, it was not clear. Ur-Im joined contact, and she inquired on the state of the hive.

It is rich of food, but poor of roles.

And the communications were still unclear.

There was an invite to join her in her pod and so they did.
