The Conglomeration separated. At least for a moment, and perceiving the world around her She Who Sees noticed they were surrounded by others. A few scouts, brought over by an occurrence within the hive. But most she could not recognize. She reached out, and He Who Sees reached back. They were brought here by the thought of danger, and by the need for assistance. He came for her, and they came because they doubted the path being taken and needed to have a part.
She, and She Who Transfers Memories, would put their thoughts onto a shard to pass around, She Who Flies would make sure all saw and had their say recorded. Shards had been gathered and all would be shared. At least a change would happen among those present.
So they presented their side and began to reach a decision.

He Who Remembered War was preparing. The enemy would return, and when they did we would be able to take them down for good. But they are not the only threat, there are the other hives and the moving hives. And what makes the moving hives different from the enemy? Yes there is some trade, but they have the tools needed to defeat the enemy, the only reason they are still there is to weaken us. That's what he thinks.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
He contacted the others, but they were not sure, there were many moving hives, and we only saw some. Maybe it was a plot to create a distance and weaken the one we are trading with?
Maybe, the scouts are getting tired, we can awaken some form pseudo stupor, but there won't be enough to keep some active until the next war. Unless we find the enemy soon we'll need more scouts. So we should probably focus on training some more...
A scout entered, there was a gathering of many workers from different roles. They were not doing anything damaging, but they were not acting to advance the hive or its effort. Where they infiltrators? Enemies? Were they contaminated otherwise? This was not planned.
Well, watch we need to know more, another scout arrived. He had infiltrated the gathering and there were thoughts of other ruling powers in the hive. Of other authorities. There was more though, they had gathered to discuss efficiency. And growth. They were a gathering for a purpose outside of war.
The hive would have to keep resources distributed differently, what were their roles?
How could we respond to that, what could be done to prevent them from subverting the war by contacting those who would lead the hive elsewhere. They would cause our doom if that happened.
Find the roles among them, if they were necessary they would stay. But to deal with them we needed a way.
