We have lost count of time, we have lost count of place. We move we advance, and we release the sails.

Crui tells this to Hlei. We are lost.

But can we anchor on anything with the eye? Has the path been remembered?

It is lost. The giant pushed us off track, and with only two, to escape from the other we could not use all at once.

And what of the other giant, does it persue?

Crui reaches again for the eye, for the senses, and in the distance he sees another giant, one they are approaching. A large entity, with fins that move but a base.

Is that not a structure, fins moving without a base?

So there may be others there. Are we moving in that direction?

We are not, but if the others see us as enemy? We must be prepared to retreat.

Can we not simply wait until Ur-Im awakens from stupor?

We catch the flows, and our momentum carry's us. We shall record our travel there and create some sort of path back. But we are lost, we cannot let the flow of the greater world carry us away. I shall direct us past the others, and we shall slow near them. But first we shall prepare the twist nets. If they are enemy, we do not fight we retreat.

Hlei shall be the one to approach them. And Hlei will communicate in simple communication.

So Hlei shall retread her memories of communication, and the thought/method/language, shards.

Just help Crui angle the ship first.

Crui moves us to this other hive, and pulls me...

He pulls Hlei There is one of us on the outside of the hive, but it too in a way is a giant, it is almost twice as large as one of us. With more tendrils.

But how can Crui tell of their size, and if their size is similar...

There is one thing Crui has learned to see, and that is our tendrils, that one's thought-tendrils while longer, are the same size as our own. And though it has many more of them than we do, it's form is unmistakable. Does Hlei truly want to risk herself this way.

So Hlei shall secure herself if needs be that Crui pulls her back...
