Those with roles on the outside of the hive communicate with each other more than those within the hive. It is needed for safety. To know what has been done, what processes are underway.

It is done for cooperation, the work of the roles is far larger than the ones performing it. There is danger, and not all are best equipped to deal with it.

But the rolls overlap, for multiple, can do one thing. And when danger comes, one must first be able to protect themselves. So that those whose role it is to destroy danger can do so immediately.

Those that act within our Hive-home do not understand this fully. They do not understand us.

And yet the hive needs what it needs and most here prefer roles within.

Most but not I, and not the others gathered here. I am here for the connection. For the need for flexibility requires more communication. I can act in my role and the other are always here. For we need to be this way.

And others have joined this role. My memories, those that exist outside the role. Those too are part of the role. And those that watch, and the role that guides in an attempt at improving our role is not one of us. Not of the hive home.

But it is one of us, if the role is not, the tools are not, the actions are the same.

I remember them, For they need to be watched.

I remember them, committing of myself. Of the scarce memory that remains mine. What I improve and what I polish. In my own pod, and the shards I have gathered from dangerous roles. With those, I remember them.

And I make sure to pass by them. I remember them so they are important.

Our ship is tied to the outside of their Hive-home, as it floats. We see the their shape and design, similar to the ship with nets along the outside. And as their HIve-home moves it gathers resources food and fish.

They know this, it is their role. We know this.

The role of Crui, they do not understand.

The role of the watcher, who guide the improvement of their role. There exists memory and context for it. Within a few of them are memories that travel across a few cycles.

And the roles of the edge dweller know of roles like this.

So I shall explain what they can do to advance the great project. The improvement to the outside of the hive. that shall improve all their roles.

One brings up an unfamiliar thought, and it echoes across their communications. A return to what once was, a process to reverse the process of reduction.

And the thought is not to be spread further. It is an inefficient use of memory. The project creates. And that is what we are doing.

Yet if we are to complete our great project, improving their nets and their designs, making them easier to pull in and repair. Crui needs to see the whole thing to make sure the work is done correctly.
