There were scouts about. She Who Transferred Memories took the role of communicating with them. We were here for better organization between our roles. And the war effort was inefficient, at least on that everyone here, (well with one exception, but we were able to keep that thought to ourselves.)
We were here to discuss what must be done, and They Who Perceived shared their perception, with constant voices butting in this took a pretty long time. And we know because apparently She Who Flies also brought a few being over...
----------------------------------------
Zest saw the danger in the approach, they who remember war were the leading orders in the hive. But couldn't we just give them stupor-inducing food? She Who Preserves pointed out that without those orders the scouts would react as in the case of disaster and awaken the warriors. And with the, justified, fear of infiltrators that could turn disastrous.
He Who Keeps Time wondered if they could not just wait it out, preserve what they could, and continue when They Who Remember War go back to stupor. But They Who Remember War are perpetuating their waking counts. By the time there was no more He Who Remembers War awake, the hive would be far worse off. And the preparations for war were worrying.
Another thought went through the circle. We could try and convince one He Who Remembers War, and have him tone it down that way. But we don't have one with enough authority that the thought would hold against the influence of the others.
We could try both, and He Who Keeps Time could... He Who Once Kept Time, he is not active in that role, and the information is stored in the shards of the current actor.
She Who Flies thought's cut in. Could we not have the only waking he who remembers war be the one who was subverted? Keep him away from the food? That would be one way to keep the scouts and warriors in order...
She Who Preserves returned. The scouts would not trust us near one of the rest who were going into stupor. And the scouts themselves may put him into thoughts of active war that would be a disaster. Bur with so many under active orders, leaving those blank would leave them in the midst of tasks without end. And those that don't continue their tasks may be lost within the hive for far too long. Without the guides active we would lose access to large portions of the hive. And we can't let that happen.

Can we not approach them all and encourage them to go into stupor? Zest can process food until the others awake? We do have stores... But only they who remember war know their current amounts. As they have already been taken for the war effort.
She Who Decides What Is Forgotten could help with that. But there is fear of her actions. We would need to limit her actions.
Those Who Remember the dead might encourage this path of action. But there are other risks with them taking over the hive.
What are those risks and inquiry passed through. But only pain came through those with complete memories of the event. They did not want to harm us with those memories, or even look too deep.
But we needed more influence than what we currently held. The contacting scouts don't even trust us enough. And suspicion is gathering around us.
We would discuss the plans further by passing over shards. We would prepare the stupor-inducing food and put those we could to stupor. But this is a just a stopgap saving us more time. In which we can pass around shards, and try to find She Who Remembers War to solve it for us.
I am not satisfied with this conclusion, but we will do as we can and pass around shards doing what we can in the meantime.
But first, we will start from the bottom, and help those nearest to us. They Who Create Wings.
----------------------------------------
He Who Creates Wings was not sure what he could do to pursue this course of action, but She Who Preserves sent him some guidance and they went forth. The workers were busy and he reached out, they needed better wings of war, they needed complete this and that. He paused. There was an absence. And there was not a way of acquiring. The communication went through them like a wave, there was a pause,.She Who Preserves Communicated to those nearest, and so did he. They Who Remember War were busy fighting a distant enemy and lost track of efficiency. The stores are going empty, but most important the next workers would not be awake in time so the hive would be left without their role.
They could not let this happen. Work resumed slowly. And he felt a moment of relief. But She Who Preserves disrupted that. He would need to be active in this, he could not just communicate it once. He must keep them calm and inactive, he could not yet resume his role.
And then she sent him images of vibrations and some of the internal mechanisms to the Wings. She would help if she could, but the important task comes first. And so with some regret, he became She Who Ensures Creation. At least until he could return to his chosen role.
