By the time I reached the food processors, the scout had already left. That speed, it can't of been efficient. But it is understandable from one who still sees himself as a warrior of a sort.
I prefer the efficiency that allows me to spend more of my time waking. Except when that efficiency comes at the cost of thought. I do not feel alive otherwise. But for efficiency, the newer designs of Sail-gliders is ingenious, I know not who worked this out. But it is ingenious.
The counterflow, the utilization of vibration in a more subtle sense than simply the directional movements of water... But, I haven't really been using the more complex mechanisms, I've been working it to be more like the older models, those of my invention. And the problem is, the complex mechanisms require more complicated inputs.
So how can I automate the inputs, or implement systems that decipher the sound. Something that would filter other vibrations out, well it wouldn't filter them out, but direct the pressure to move individual parts...
And I know of one who works with vibrations, so if I don't know the way. He Who Speaks With Giants will.

He Who Yearns To Imitate The Vibrations Of Giants had to return to stupor. Our experience together was short but meaningful. And the great project would go on. So I went first I read the shards he left for me, and I felt something was missing. The experimentation was cut short and there were more resources to use than expected. I needed to know what had changed in the pod, so I reached for the memory shards.

Maybe there was another way I could provide for the great project, I needed to guard it against the aspirations of the warriors. And I needed to provide enough that it would not die.
And as I remembered the summoning to war, another reached to us, sending to Wur.
Wur was in stupor, what is the need. Ur-Im, as he saw himself, send imaged of vibration of movement, but it was unclear. The perception not as is common in our kind. He needed to slow down.
Ur-Im returned Apologies, a complex yet minor form of guilt, and requested my designation. I was not Wur would I be Sim? I would not accept a designation so different from Wur, and I did not understand why he used quick designations in a time of efficiency, but I would close to Wur if he must. I would be Si-Wur, or something of that sort.
He passed me a shard. It had a model, a design, and a purpose. He wanted assistance in the movements of vibrations through something like this.
Understanding why he was here, I requested the shard as payment. He accepted. So first he would need to consider...
Stay here, I sent to him. I needed to consider if this course of action advances our great project. Understanding would help. work to use vibrations may assist in understanding, and an abundance of memories might be necessary to complete our projects. The shard would help with that. Deciding it was a useful enough application of our thought, I would provide with this project.
I reached back out to Ur-Im and we began. First, the direction of pressure at that scale was unfeasible, this was not a device of perception but of movement, second, what he needed to do was to ssimulateflow in a particular direction, but using the device in this way would cause it to clash with itself nullifying vibrations that could be useful...
