Chapter 43.2: Fishing (Part 2)

Zur was busy. She was organizing. Zur now was She Who Organizes. Zur could have many roles. And that was because Zur had the wealth of many at her disposal.

And those around Zur understood growth.

----------------------------------------

He Who Gathers Fish was acting as He Who Gathers. Because the role was needed, and of all those in his previous role, he was the first to take it up.

But was it more meaningful? Well, the first element of it was. Saving the young. Others like him, Finding pods and saving lives. Directly. There it truly was fulfilling. But it was also tiring. And the net's were disorganized. And as others took it upon themselves, he stepped aside.

But there was flow, and there were paths. And why could they not gather fish using the suction from the flow tunnels? Could he not gather fish and materials that way? Would gathering from net's on the edge of and even setting up ones inside the hive provide a better harvest? And he would have increased access to food.

He contacted Zur if she could.

She approved, He Who Flies would show him to those who could organize this, and he would be able to work there.

----------------------------------------

He Who Gathers came to He Who Flies. They gathered, they contacted He Who Minimizes Flow.

And I Crui created a path. I also get to take a cut. Because I have done work, I have created descriptions and I have had found all those for needed roles in this scenario. Now I shall sleep.

And none were surprised when Crui was the first of them to need stupor.

----------------------------------------

They Who Kept The Hive Prepared For War. Had stopped acting. No decisions had come there way, and other than the occasional gap in the defenses, the hive was ready enough.

Or at least it seemed that way. They would act again as soon as they had a better understanding of what was occurring within the hive.

----------------------------------------

And he Who Transfers Memories returned to his pod. All this fuss, and yet most of the problems solving themselves. And all returned to be good.

All was well in the hive.

He Who Nurtures agreed, though he had acted and done much to deal with "that fuss".

And when a young one, seeking a role, repeated this thought to He Who Flies. He was given reason to doubt wanting to share that role. But then, he needed a reason if he wished to act

He Who Flew Quickly entered the hive.
