He Who Sees returned to the pod. Anxious, angry, and… he took control of his emotions, and reached out. Sending his experience to She Who Remembers.

The pod was in a state of urgency despite the lack of a threatening enemy. Yes, I could tell, was he not avoiding the scouts sent by Those Who Remember War? Was there inefficient movement in the hive? Were the vibrations not disrupting his sight? Somehow, the state of war was not over. And if it lasted too long, the hive would starve itself without noticing. If we were to be in a state of war, it would have to become something longer term. But did he see that to be the case?

He does not know; he was too frustrated with the attempts to pull him in to the roles of others.

I Send Understanding, I shall go gather those who know more.

We embrace the sharing and experience cut short by the importance of my thoughts to my task, and I go on my way.

He Who Duplicates Shards needed rest, but he was needed working more, there was a necessity for one with his task, and he was the only one there. But he was working, so when one reached for him he did not respond, he hoped she would understand but he had not the thought to spare.

She? A She reached out to him? She Who Shares Memories was in pseudo stupor in the back, go to her.

And he continued with his task.

She Who Shares Memories was awoken by She Who Remembers Them. Was there a need for old memories? Was there…

She was sent some memories there was war.

What type of war? What of She Who Writes Them Down.

There was a sense of humor coming form the other end. He Who Duplicates Shards is working, He could not be interrupted.

But he will die! He will fall into stupor with the memories of others in his hands! If it happens again there will be nothing left that makes Him Him!

So, he shall be brought to his pod for sleep. Then we will discover the source of this war before it claims any more victims.
