The first decision is always the hardest. I remember this.
Because the first decision is the hardest, I must remember quite a bit to make it. I remember this too, and this is why it is important to remember it.
There are roles to consider, memory, food, structure. Are any missing?
Another is missing. My hive-home needs me. My hive needs me.
What role does my hive need for me. I gather some fragments of myself and I go to a comfortable role. I go to process and grow materials.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
I go to process and grow materials, but the role is occupied, and when one goes into stupor the role pod shall be consumed.
I still need another role to strain myself and to sustain my growth. So I move on.
And I go to distribute food. If there is growth in the hive they shall need more then.
But they have food, some come, some need delivered. But few are needed to sit fill the role, and some pods are being recycled.
So instead I go to process food, the role is open. But, it is not a role I like. I shall see what I can do to help with distribution if there is any such need in the role.
But I can perserve it, for the pod from the distributors comes to those that process, and that is the pod I shall be in, the one I shall work on.
It is the closest to home.
