The death of the healers. The emptiness, the memory was communicated and echoed between They Who Remember War. And subtly it changed, did the enemies end it? Was it infiltration? First, though the scouts needed to see. And, some did.
So those scouts were brought before the council, and He Who Understood The Methods War brought some who remembered the deal. And against the desires for vengeance, he showed a memory.
It was a painful memory incomplete hard to comprehend, it was a poison, bad-food. Absorbed through the tendrils without notice, or extracted in an attempt to heal. And as they remembered war, they should remember what poisons were used.
And they had used poison to destroy the enemies' pods. And they had achieved a victory. And it was good...
No, an interruption, pain, grief, it brought the end of the healer, potentially of all the healers. Their pod was potentially corrupted as well. And injury would cause the end of the hive if they could not raise another healer. Of the young, or by redistributing an existing role. They could not waste material if they knew not what was needed for healing. And those who processed may know,
But the warriors could not survive long enough to create others.
And so they needed to stop, they needed to calm, they needed to protect what they had to create other healers, and spend time resting in case another conflict arose and they needed stupor. At least until they had a healer.
But they also needed the hive to have a healer, and there were missing roles. They had not the resources for war. So they separated and most returned to their individual pods

And after they split apart, Zur approached He Who Understood Methods Of War and asked him.
No, Zur asked Her, was it truly Zur's creation that had killed the healer?
And She Who Remembered War responded. It was, at least after the involvement and improvements of Zim among others.
And He left Zur, for She Who Remembered War was no more. And even if the role remained, this one had not the capacity or understanding needed for it.

He Who Organized Memories Of War continued to act, they needed to retract the scouts for injuries sustained from unnecessary actions could not be repaired, though they still needed a presence in the hive to recognize enemy infiltrators. They would take some transference shards, used to deliver memories and thoughts through this section, and inscribe upon them memories to recognize enemies. Those who were once warriors and scouts would have them.
And the rest of them followed and agreed, they would rest and do little until they could recover again. And he would take the role that She once had address those outside the hive, and awaken them when necessary. For only, he had a record of all their specialized roles.
And he accepted the role. She accepted the role, if needs be. But she feared her end. So this time she would save and prepare so it would not pass as before.

He Who Nurtures could not continue on his way. For he had not yet addressed the problem of the lost young. But he saw scouts passing, and they would retire to rest as they would be in times of peace. But there was a greater danger at the moment and they were needed to find...
Zur reached out to him. Understood these thoughts, and reached to another.
The scouts would scour the hive, They Who Fly would scour the hives. And all lost pods and lost young would be found. They Who Remembered War guaranteed it.
He Who Nurtured trusted Zur in this matter, and he let her handle this case. For it was time for him to return to his role.
And She Who Named could hardly exist. As Zur was busy, and Zur did not understand the role Zur had been given.
So Zur saw the scouts and began to communicate what was needed to them. Zur returned to Uxim.
And She could not understand him.
Zur sent to Uxim an image, they would return to He Who Flies. Zur needed assistance in this matter, and he still felt he owed her.
