There she felt a vibration back through the net. A guide was coming. But they would meet at the next tassel.

She felt for it, went to it. And she found a guide. She reached for him.

He reached back and inquired, why does she hold the guide messages in her memories? She shares her overpod with He Who Fly's and the roles occupy similar functions.

Is she the one that names?

She was going to the healers. Would he like to be Fei?

Fei would take the name, there was a guide-glider this way.

How could the guide afford such gliders with the existing resource distribution?

Some were acquired for the organization of the hive, and it was deemed more efficient if the guides brought the scouts around to their places. There is not an infinite amount of space in the flow-tunnels. And the scouts had begun to collide with each other.

Fei is particularly communicative for a guide, why was that?

Fei saw his role to move others towards their destination, and it could sometimes be more efficient if the purpose and end destination was understood so that the path could be traveled most efficiently.

And so they flew. And reached a location near the side of the hive.

And Fei explained to Zur. The healer's place is a pod built out of the side of the old hive wall, near the exit to be of use to workers and collecters who act outside the hive if she continued in that direction, he shared some movements with her, the flows were somewhat hard to predict due to recent changes. So Zur needed to take those into account when maneuvering into position.

He would wait here for when she needed to continue.
