Here we are, the roles that manage the hive. I bring back knowledge of our hive-home.

We are reordering the hive-home some roles are not providing sufficiently and others see little use.

We are observing what happens within the hive, all the free memory within our role is dedicated to their actions. And it is obvious why our roles are needed, to manage ot move to see. We don't need as many food processors we have an excess of fish coming in, and we need less processing for the rarer fish.

What of that used by the healers? Less is in use, all the dedicated storage space holds it. The production is not providing anything.

What roles will that memory capacity be dedicated to?

The decontaminator role of the healers. it needs not move far. The processing of construction materials. We shall make room to expand the number of stupor-pods in the hive-home. We increase our numbers. Fill our space.

We need to expand the storage spaces to fit the resources coming in, to gather enough to create more extensive projects, increase movement within the hive, and clear ourselves of damaging factors...

Damaging factors?

...in this one's movement through the hive, it has come across broken edges and harmful material on the edge of some of the travel paths. With access to the contaminated areas, we need to clear much of what was in there...

I leave the discussion at this point, the decision has been made to reduce the memory dedicated to food processing roles. And I go to make sure the hive receives our decision.

Those that process food are upset, they feel that if they were to remove another role-pod, there would not be enough occupied roles if any of them needed stupor. They need a certain number of processors at all times.

They could reduce their production.

They are hesitant, they are unclear...

They could cease some production but with fewer bodies, some things would stop being possible.

They could remove some tasks and some processes from existing role pods. Keep the important ones, and the most productive ones. a new pod will be created from the now empty memory shards. We can have your Task=pods reconstructed that way.

They agree with this course of action. and I continue on my way.

I continue on the way to find what else has been decided. I would continue on my way, but I detour, feeling the touch of the remembered one. my remembered one.

We reach to each other, feeling, sharing memories. At this point, I am living another life on top of my own, that which moves, that cleans that prepares the depths of our hive, and keeps it alive. A role we need to dedicate more memory to...

We relax our touch slightly. I am well, We are well. the changes are not harming us. And there be slight payment in memory for some tasks performed, enough for a single shard. I shall dedicate what I gain as payment to my remembered one.

I resume my role.

Most in this hive switch roles, they change roles. But I am this role, I save this role. It is a part of me, and part of the role is my memory.

I move the stupor-pods, I position them, and when more come to be I find them space and move them in when others don't. When more of the hive is cleaned and repaired I position things. I clean what we have, I move them around. More memories are being formed. More roles being changed and occupied. And I repair the rest-pods. I perform my role as not other. My rest pod itself dedicated to the memory and the task. The maps shared in both.

So when more memory is gathered to expand my role and others that share, it. I gather some. increase the movement with tools and tasks given to me. And increase the memories of those that know me, those in the stupor-pods and add small fragments expanding them. Expanding their memories. And...

Another reaches to contact me, one that currently shares in my role. It inquires, what I am doing?

We provide some shards, some transferable memory fragments to those that sleep near us. They share their travels and their tasks in the shards they gather. And we can better move, learn and expand within our own tasks with what is provided.

in the next cycle This one shall take a role of one that reates nets. That understanding shall assist in our constructions.

When I rise from stupor, I return to the role I held prior to stupor. For it is a rich role, one that shall provide me with value and memory. I go to be a healer, and a decontaminator.

I gather the role pod, I hold the memory shards, I shall better complete this role. I have provided the memory I am here, I go to the edge, where I can gain the most value for my role.

And I replace the one acting there, a decontaminator an incomplete role, carrying a half-recylced pod from a maintainer of the edge...

What role is this? Where did the pod come from?

The roles are changing the hive is changing some roles recycle. We keep this one to maintain those that dwell on the edge, to decontaminate, to prevent harm, and to confirm the task is complete.

These roles are important, they are ours.

Ours, ours, but they are not mine. I heal and I maintain, and I work at the edge. It is something I have brought about. And there is great wealth in it for me.

There is excess memory in the recycled pod. But these roles are important to these ones. they become home, they create home.

I shall not take the materials, only a small some, I shall sit here as a healer, the pod shall be considered a healer, and I shall be given my wealth. I shall continue myself I shall remember more.

I will remember these one's. I shall dedicate memory to...

One of them, one of us. If I remember them, they shall remember me and my place here.
