I suddenly realize I’vebeen an Idiot who says I have to take some of the mycorrhizal network that belongs to elder and his colony?

There is a perfectly intact one in the burnt section where the pain mushroom resides in. And it’s chock full of nutrients that I was using to rehabilitate the area.

I should really mention this place to elder, maybe it can … encourage some of his colony to grow here? Somehow?

I remember from a video I saw once that some trees were kinda like mushrooms in a way. I can pop out several mushrooms several yards away and to a person or animal it would look like two separate mushrooms but in truth they came from the same organism.

Same thing with these trees I’m thinking about. I can’t remember their actual name but their roots spread out and grow themselves multiple trunks and trees. What looks on the surface as a forest of multiple trees is actually one organism.

Maybe elder has a few of these types in its colony that can grow themselves into the area?

I wonder how elder would feel about me growing more of myself over there and take over in a sense. I mean I was practically doing the work of a caretaker which is I guess what elder does for its colony.

I could be become the de facto elder there.
