Chapter 114

She woke up bleary eyed and in pain. Her head was in excruciating agony, but what surprised her the most was that her body was also quiet sore and in pain. Her slow walk from where she was knocked unconscious to where she was now felt arduous. While she didn’t feel it then clearly her body very much agreed with that assessment now.

Despite it all there was one thing she was quite grateful for, she fortunately collapsed fairly close to the water… yesterday? She wasn’t sure at all.

She looked to the sky to confirm but suddenly the pain peaked and she quickly shut her eyes. It was agony. The pain was practically screaming at her threatening to drive her into unconscious. The pain instantly drowning out everything else. She couldn’t move, she couldn’t breathe and time stretched into infinity.

Eventually the pain passed enough to where she could open her eyes.

Her eyes immediately searched for the water and when she found it and she quickly dipped her head to drink. Nausea crept up at how fast she moved but she hardly cared. Her mouth was completely dry and her stomach was begging for water.

It seems as if she did loose consciousness if her thirst was any indicator.

Now that the pain had passed she slowly looked to the sky and found herself in darkness.

She didn’t have energy to do much of anything at the moment but heal. She did not particularly want to go back to sleep though so she stayed up and thought about what happened yesterday.

As the sun slowly made its journey into the sky and the first rays of sunshine hit her, she decided that eventually when she was all healed she’d make a burrow nearby.

With that decision made her eyelids gradually closed and she fell back asleep.
