She sprinted away.

Not even considering rolling in the ashes to get rid of the smell.

She just wanted to get away from it all.

She was done trying to understand this place. She couldn’t help but feel that this whole forest was playing some sort of sick joke on her.

First her home was ripped away from her and before it was, she came across the same type of mushroom as the giant one she saw here. Second the same smell she was running away from now was responsible for saving her life from the fire.

This whole thing was confusing and irritating.

And she just wanted to be done with it. This whole forest freaked her out. The water that slammed and snapped her out of her stillness was merely the catalyst of her deciding to be done with this whole thing.

… but the further along she got the more she couldn’t help but dwell on what just happened. That water came out of nowhere. There were no clouds in the sky and in fact even if there were the mushroom itself should have blocked the rain out. The more and more she thought about it the more it seemed that the water had come from the mushroom itself.

But In all her life though she never came across a mushroom that did that.

As she ran away and tried to understand she failed to realize that a tree was in her direct path.

She slammed right into it and was knocked unconscious.
