I need some time to process.

Everything I told elder was true I don’t blame it for what it did, but… this just sucks.

I’m glad it bothered to communicate with me but if I didn’t do the things I did elder could have killed me as well.

I asked it to let me know if another of my kind shows up and it agrees.

I’ve been starved for conversation for a while now and having elder as a conversation partner is enlightening but this revelation just puts a damper on that.

“Elder thanks for the conversation but I need to think about some things. Can we talk tomorrow?”

A moment of silence and then it responds with, “I apologize guardian if what I said upset you. Until tomorrow then.”

Huh and apology and a goodbye, I’m surprised it accepted so easily.

Almost immediately I feel something snap and something tells me elder just disconnected the nodule. Tomorrow I’ll have to ask it why it does that and if it can show me how to make one. If I even could.

Until then I need to pick up all my projects and start figuring out what I could and would even do if elder told me if there’s another one of my kind here.
