Chapter 4: A Note

Morning came and the room was messy. Lilica's body was filled with love marks and bite marks. She groggily woke up and looked at the time. It was already 12 pm. Luckily, it was a Sunday so she wasn't late for her work. Lilica felt that there was something different about her when she woke up. She could feel a sudden surge of energy. She never felt like this before when she ate other guys, even when she had sex with her 'partner' from school.

She couldn't find an explanation. She had at first thought that the man might've been a fellow demon, an incubus or a higher rank demon. But she soon dismissed the idea as she thought that the man was definitely human. The only other explanation would be that the man was a really high quality meal, one that was very rare amongst humans.

In fact, there was actually quite a lot of succubus and incubus in the human world, as humans tasted pretty good. The only demons that tasted better than humans were demons of either the same rank or a higher rank, but eating a high ranked demon's life force was almost impossible as the hierarchy system was quite strong in the current demon world. The lower demons should never dream of having a higher demon for their life partner. That was the unspoken rule. Therefore, many succubus and incubus came to the human world in search of delicious meals.

After convincing herself that he was human, Lilica looked around to find that the handsome man was no longer in the room. She found a note by the bedside. She picked it up, hoping that Kazuya had left a note. It seemed she was already addicted to his taste, as expected.

However, it wasn't a note. It was a blank cheque, meaning he wanted to pay her for the night. She felt humiliated, she was never considered as a prostitute before but the man just treated her like one. She swore she would find the man again then, not just because she was angry, but also because she was badly craving for him.
