"I'm not sure why you have no memory of it but I'm sure it was you! Do you remember the doll you have? The one with blond hair and violet eyes just like me? The one with the blue skirt with the initials 'L.S' on the hem of the skirt?"
"How do you know I have a doll like that?" Kazuya asked, feeling a little surprised. Did she find it on the night before their wedding in his old room?
"So you remember it, right? That was actually mine! I gave it to my first love when we played together so that makes you my first love!" Lilica summarized it for him.
"What? Lilienne was the one who gave it to me!" Kazuya denied. He was very sure of it since he remembered asking Lilienne whether she had given it to him and she said yes!
"Huh? Lilienne? But this doll was handmade by my mom so it's surely not from Lilienne! I'm sure of it since my mom had sown it together with me! Did you mixed us up since both of our nicknames are 'Lily'?"
"Let me recall what happened first… I remember playing with a girl and that her name was Lily. She gave me this doll and then… what happened?" Kazuya started feeling a headache as he tried to remember the events after that.
"As I remember it, we followed an adult and something happened.I also can't remember what happened after that…" Lilica muttered as she also searched he memory. Perhaps it was because it was too long ago, Lilica couldn't remember the details clearly. The only thing she knew was that something bad must've happened since her parents had avoided talking about it when she was little. Not only that, her instincts told her that her brain was trying to protect her by erasing these memories.

"I think it's best if we ask dad about it. He should know what happened. But it's late right now so we should ask him about it tomorrow." Lilica suggested.
"Alright. Let's shower and sleep then." Kazuya said as his thoughts wandered around what happened. He was no longer in the mood to do it anymore since he didn't like the feeling that his memory was missing.
The two of them showered together and slept peacefully or the night.

Back to the palace
The guards had searched through the whole courtyard but Lilienne was nowhere to be found.
Kazuki felt disheartened but he was helpless about it. Not being there for his wife made him feel useless. At least, he wa sur that she was still safe since he himself isn't dead yet.
Kazuki made his way to his parents room with complex emotions.
Knock. Knock.
"Come in." The king's voice came through the door.
"Father…" Kazuki was about to report what had happened but was stopped by his mother.
"Say no more. It must have been hard on you." The queen said as she hugged her son tightly. She knew that he was probably blaming himself right now.
"Mother…" Kazuki muttered as he hugged her back. He needed some comfort right now.
"Kazuya had told me about everything that had happened. Don't worry, I think I know where her destination is." The king said in a serious tone.
"Really?! Where, Father?" Kazuki asked immediately, feeling a ray of hope.
"They probably won't kill her just yet. The enemy won't leave killing such an important person to his subordinates. She is probably being transferred to the human realm. All we have to do is go wait for them at the gate to the human realm. There's no other exit except for there. I've already sent some people to go guard both the inside and outside of the gate." The king replied.
When Kazuki had the car accident, it was evident that the enemy's goal wasn't to kill him, but to serve as a warning that he was closing in on them. However, this time, the king was pretty sure that the enemy was serious on killing all of them.
Kazuki breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that there was already people guarding the gate. Just then, he noticed two more people in the room. It was his grandparents.
"Grandfather, what are you doing here?" Kazuki asked.
"I've already figured out who the enemy is but we don't know where he currently is." The former king said in a tone filled with melancholy.
"What! Who in the world is he then?" Kazuki exclaimed, feeling shocked. They had been trying to identify the enemy for months but his grandfather was able to identify him so quickly! As expected of the former king!
