Kazuya took Lilica’s luggage to the car after flirting with her for so long. The two of them then continued flirting, leaving Sharon, who was bored of the couple in the car. She decided to just wait in the car so that at least, she wasn’t fed public display of affection directly.
After a while, Mr. and Mrs. Stell came downstairs and saw the two of them chatting and hugging outside. Mr. Stell was about to storm off to stop them but was held back by his wife.
“Let them be with each other. They won’t meet each other for a whole month.” Mrs. Stell interrupted her husband. She sympathized with the couple since she was sure she would feel the same as them if she was still in the honeymoon-stage.
“Grr… Fine.” Mr. Stell grunted as he watched the couple.
As the two of them chatted away, Lilica noticed the two people at the door. She came out of his embrace and went to her parents to say her goodbyes and that she would be staying at Sharon’s place, not Ven’s.
Kazuya followed her slowly and quietly. The three of them said their goodbyes for a while before Lilica boarded the car.
“I’ll send you the ‘thing’ we talked about later to Sharon’s place. I can’t give it to you now.” Kazuya said as he bent down to kiss Lilica who was sitting in the car.
“Then you can just take one of the ‘things’ directly from my bedroom.” Lilica replied as she kissed him back.
The two of them felt reluctant to separate but they had to, if they wanted to get Lilica’s father’s approval.
Lilica reluctantly closed the door as she told Sharon that they could start the car. She then looked out the window, only to see Kazuya’s lonely face.
Lilica frowned when she saw his face that looked like an abandoned puppy. She didn’t want to part with him at all.

The two of them locked eyes for so long, only to stop when the car drove off, making Kazuya’s figure further and further away.
‘Sigh… I miss him already…’ Lilica thought to herself as she felt gloomy.
“What was that ‘thing’ you guys were talking about?” Sharon asked curiously. She was too far away to hear the couple’s sweet whispers, so she had no idea what they were talking about.
“Um… It’s better if you don’t know.” Lilica answered, her face flushed.
“Why?” Sharon asked questioningly. Was it something bad?
“Umm… You know? … Something private…” Lilica answered ambiguously, trying her best to explain while trying not to blush but to no avail.
“Oh. Okay. I get it. I won’t ask anymore.” Sharon replied, feeling like she made a mistake. She shouldn’t have asked! If hadn’t asked, then she wouldn’t have to suffer from this display of affection! Although she didn’t know what they were talking about, she was sure that it would be something she would regret asking. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
Back at Lilica’s house
Kazuya walked towards the door after seeing Lilica off. As soon as the three of them went inside, Mr. Stell demanded, “Firstly, make breakfast. After that clean the house and tend to the greenhouse.”
Mrs. Stell was about to make breakfast but stopped in her tracks when she heard her husband. Mr. Stell was a really picky eater, making Lilica take up the same habits. It was obvious that her husband was finding reasons to bully the prince.
“Then I’ll assist you.” Mrs. Stell said.
“No need! It’s this guy’s trial!” Mr. Stell stopped her. He didn’t want her to ruin his plans to bully the bastard.
“But…” Mrs. Stell was about to retorted but was interrupted by Kazuya.
“It’s fine, Mrs. Stell. I will handle it on my own.” Kazuya replied with a polite smile.
‘Hah! Let’s see how long you can stay arrogant!’ Mr. Stell snorted in his mind.
“If you say so.” Mrs. Stell replied to Kazuya, still feeling bad for him. It was too obvious that her husband was dead set on not accepting him anyway.
Kazuya nodded and walked towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Luckily, he was experienced in cooking which made him look more like a family man, unlike most snobbish rich people who were born with a silver spoon and couldn’t do a thing.
Not long after, Kazuya came out of the kitchen with two sets of luxurious breakfast. When Mrs. Stell saw the magnificent dishes, she felt ashamed that she was confident in her cooking. The prince’s cooking looked and smelled a lot more appetizing than hers. It looked even better than those that came from luxury hotel restaurants!
When Mr. Stell saw the Kazuya come out with the two sets of breakfast, he was about to complain but was left gaping at the scrumptious feast before his eyes. It looked so simple yet grand. It exuded an aura of elegance, totally out of place in this cozy house.
“Y-you… H-hmph! It’s too grand! We’re just commoners. It won’t suit our tastes! You can’t even cook normal food! Although it looks good, who says the tastes will match its appearance?!” Mr. Stell tried his best to come up with an excuse to criticize Kazuya.
“If you’re not eating it then I’ll eat first.” Mrs. Stell said, her eyes not leaving the glistening egg benedict in front of her eyes. She couldn’t wait to taste it.
“W-who said I’m not eating?! It’s just that I may not like the flavors!” Mr. Stell retorted back. He also wanted to taste it as the fragrance coming from it was mouth-licking.
“If the flavors are not to your liking, I can change it to however you want it to be.” Kazuya humbly spoke up, feeling a little nervous. This was the second time he cooked for someone and this time, the person eating his cooking was his father-in-law!
