"Dad… Don't make him do any outrageous things." Lilica said in a warning tone protectively.

"Lily… Sigh… Don't you trust me at all?" Mr. Stell uttered in a helpless and sad tone.

"I just hope that you'll give him a chance fairly." Lilica replied meekly when she realized that she had hurt her father's feelings.

"I know what to do. You!" Mr. Stell said as he turned to Kazuya. He still didn't want to call Kazuya by his name. "For one whole month, I forbid you to meet my daughter!" Mr. Stell continued.

"Dad!" Lilica glared at her father, feeling like her father hadn't listened to her at all.

"Lily! Stay out of this! I have reasons for my actions." Mr. Stell glared back at Lilica then moved his gaze back to Kazuya.

"If you can't do this then don't even think I'd allow you to marry Lily!" Mr. Stell declared as he tried to test Kazuya.

"I'll do what you say." Kazuya replied politely as he turned to Lilica and said, "Lilica, I'll do whatever your father says so he will accept our marriage. Just bear with it for a month."

After he finished his sentence, Kazuya patted her head lovingly as he consoled her with a smile.

"Okay…" Lilica murmured disappointedly, feeling like she'll surely miss him during the one-month time.

"I'll miss you…" Lilica said as she moved in to hug him longingly.

"I'll miss you too." Kazuya said as he hugged her back affectionately and continued patting her head.

Lilica buried her head in his broad chest and tried to feel his warmth as much as possible.

Kazuya used his strong hands and cupped Lilica's chin up and moved in closer, attempting to kiss her but was interrupted by Lilica's mother.

"Ahem! The two of you can stay here for today. Lily, show him to your room." Mrs. Stell said as she brought the two of them back from their own little world. Mrs. Stell didn't want to interrupt the two of them, but she could sense that her husband was fuming mad and would probably snap again if he saw the two lovebirds kissing in front of him.

"O-okay…" Lilica stuttered as she started blushing. She was about to kiss in front of her parents which would have been really embarrassing and awkward. Lilica led Kazuya by the hand and tried to escape the scene but was interrupted by her father.

I don't allow you to live in my house temporarily, so you will need to commute to this house every morning before 6 am!" Mr. Stell demanded. Although he didn't want them to stay with each other tonight, he knew that any more than this and Lilica would be mad at him, so he had allowed for this compromise. He felt satisfied at the thought that he would be able to test Kazuya and bully him when Lilica wasn't in the house anymore.

"I understand." Kazuya replied politely.

"Okay." Lilica replied reluctantly since she didn't really want to part with him and felt that her father was surely going to abuse him but at least, her father was willing to give him a chance.

Lilica quickly tugged Kazuya's hand and led him to her bedroom.

"This is my room!" Lilica said excited as she opened her bedroom door.

The room gave off a teenager-vibe, which made Kazuya feel like he saw a new part of her.

"It's a little small so just find somewhere comfortable to sit." Lilica said as she grabbed her favorite plushie and went to sit on the bed.

Following her, Kazuya sat next to her on her soft little bed. He felt a little out of place since the room was very feminine.

"This is my favorite plushie since kindergarten! Its name is 'Vampy'!" Lilica enthusiastically introduced the old vampire plushie in her hands.

Kazuya chuckled at her cute childish naming sense. The plush doll looked old but was very clean. It was a plushie doll of a cute male vampire that had black hair and blue eyes. Its characteristics were strangely similar to Kazuya's appearance. Perhaps, it was designed after the king who also had black hair and blue eyes.

"You see, I begged my mom for this plushie when I was small because I saw a cute boy at the central park who looked very similar to this doll!
