“Where did you last feel his presence?” the king asked, a bad feeling gradually creeping into his heart.
“It was around a bar in Shinjuku. I’m going there right now, and I’ve brought some of the knights together with me just in case something bad happened. You should also send some more people here.” Kazuya’s grandfather replied before he hung up.
The king then immediately ordered for more people to go to the human realm, however, no matter how fast they travel, it would still take a lot of time since the gate was connected to England and it would take several hours to reach Japan.
“Father, I’m going with the guards too.” Kazuki said determinedly.
“No, I’ve already told you that you need to stay here.” The king replied back stubbornly. Kazuya’s life was probably in danger right now and he didn’t want Kazuki to be in danger too. If anything, then he should be the one who needs to go the human realm.
Kazuki knew that nothing would make his father’s decision budge so he could only sigh frustratingly. Was doing nothing and waiting for Kazuya to be rescued the only thing he could do right now?

A few minutes later in front of Bar Noble
Kazuya’s grandfather arrived at where he last felt Kazuya’s presence together with the knights, including Ven. He looked around and Kazuya was nowhere to be found.
The group went inside and looked around cautiously. Ven spotted one of his colleagues that had said that they would be late in meeting up with the group. Ven quickly approached the man but what met his sight was the man cautiously sneaking around, handing a very large object to another person.
Ven went in further so he could get a closer look at what the large object was. Noticing that Ven was walking away from the group, the former king became curious and walked over to where Ven was standing.

“Did you find him?” Kazuya’s grandfather asked as he followed Ven’s line of sight.
Almost immediately, he wanted to shout but was afraid that the enemy would notice them. The large object that was being handed over was actually his grandson, Kazuya!
Kazuya’s grandfather was furious. How dare they handle a member of the royal family like this? The two of them silently watched where the man tried to take the unconscious Kazuya to.
The two men walked towards the back door which was where the staffroom was. They sneaked inside cautiously as they looked around to see if anyone had spotted them.
As the former king and Ven were hiding behind a pillar and watching them, the two of them weren’t noticed. After the two men went inside the room, the former king gathered the group and started planning how to counterattack.
“Kazuya was taken to the staffroom there. The way to the enemy’s hideout should be through that door. We’ll all go through that door in intervals to search for Kazuya so that it wouldn’t seem weird. Make sure to dress yourself like one of the staffs too.” The former king said to the group of knights he had brought together with him. Fortunately, this bar had a uniform and they could easily use illusion magic to change their clothes.
“Understood, your highness.” The knights nodded as they each went to the bathroom at different intervals to cast illusion magic on themselves.
After a while, all of them successfully casted illusion magic and went into the staff room. However, the staffroom just seemed like a normal room with lockers. There were no doors leading outside or to a secret room whatsoever. The two men earlier weren’t inside too.
The group searched around, opening every locker but nothing seemed to be out of ordinary. Desperate, one of the knights started knocking on the floor to see if there were actually any hidden passage there.
The other knights also followed suit and started knocking on the floor and walls. However, nothing happened still.
Just as when nothing seemed to happen, a piece of tile on the floor suddenly moved, revealing a ladder down to the basement.
The group then cautiously went down the ladder. The ladder led to a very dark room. It could even be said that there wasn’t any light source in the room.
When all of them reached the ground, the tile that had moved just now moved back to its original place, trapping the group underground. The last person that had come down then quickly climbed the ladder up and try to move the tile again but to no avail. The other knights tried to use light magic so that they could see where they were, but it seemed like magic was being blocked here. There was no doubt that this place was definitely related to the enemy…
