In the medical examinations room
Kazuya entered the room to get Lilica’s result. However, he found that the doctor wasn’t there and that the person standing there was Kazuki instead of the doctor.
“Why are you here?” Kazuya asked, feeling surprised and confused.
“Well, earlier today Lily lied to me about going shopping. She told me she was just hanging out with her friends, but she instead went trekking with her friends. She was pushed off the cliff by someone there but luckily, she used magic in time, so she wasn’t injured anywhere. I’m waiting for her test results.” Kazuki explained.
“Oh.” Kazuya replied. He thought, ‘The enemy is starting to become bold. Targeting two members of the royal family consecutively.’
Creak.
The sound of the door opening interrupted his thoughts. The doctor came in while holding a few papers.
“Sigh… I really need to scold you guys. Take better care of your wives! I’ll start with you first, First Prince!” The doctor said in an annoyed tone. She was allowed permission to speak casually to the two of them from the Queen, so she wasn’t going to hold back on scolding the two of them.
Guilt flashed passed Kazuki’s face when he heard the doctor. It was really his fault that he couldn’t see past his wife’s lies. He knew that she enjoyed outdoor activities but since he was worried about her pregnancy, he had ordered her to stay indoors. It was his fault for not allowing her to go outdoors.

“Do not let her do any intense activities or vigorous exercise! It’s good that she wants to exercise and breathe in nature, but trekking is too dangerous! Just like this time, she could slip and fall off a cliff! Do not let her go to such dangerous places!” The doctor scolded him sternly.
When Kazuya saw Kazuki being scolded, he made a smug face as if saying, ‘My wife is obedient unlike yours! How can you not see through her lies?’
Kazuki saw his younger brother’s smug face and replied with his eyes, ‘You’re not that much better! You weren’t there when your wife was in danger!’
Kazuya replied back with his eyes, ‘You also weren’t there when your wife was in danger!’
The doctor saw the twins talking with their eyes and became more enraged. She was scolding them for their own good and they weren’t even listening to her!
“First Prince! I want you to make sure that nothing like this happens again! Luckily, the baby has already developed some magic powers, so he was able to protect the First Princess. However, if there is a next time, I can’t guarantee that the both of them will be safe.” The doctor continued her scolding.
When Kazuki heard the doctor, he turned to Kazuya and made a smug face that said, ‘Hear that? My child’s awesome! He can even save the both of them’
Kazuya saw his smug face and smirked, as if saying, ‘But if there’s a next time, your child won’t be able to save himself anymore!’
The doctor felt helpless and tired when she saw the two of them childishly bickering with their eyes.
“And you! Second Prince! Wipe that smirk off your face! You aren’t any better! The Second Princess has been through such an emotional ride during her early stages of her pregnancy that it’s going to affect her baby!” The doctor berated Kazuya.
When Kazuya heard that, he immediately felt guilty. It was true that every time Lilica felt stressed was because of him.
Seeing his brother become depressed immediately, Kazuki felt triumphant like he had won their little ‘best wife’ competition.
“Luckily she was unharmed the two times she was attacked so the baby is still safe. However. If she continues to be stressed constantly, she may lose the baby. Make sure to reduce her stress as much as possible.” The doctor continued scolding Kazuya. She had to talk some sense into the two childish twins, so they will start properly protecting their wives.
“The two of you! Stop your little petty competition! If you don’t start growing up, you may just lose your loved ones! Make sure your wives are constantly happy! Don’t bring them to dangerous places and protect them properly.” The doctor continued scolding them endlessly.
The twins felt like they had gone back to their childhood when their mother constantly scolded them whenever they did something wrong. The doctor was also married and had children. Somehow, the twins thought, ‘Do all mothers love scolding? Will my wife scold me like this in the future too?’
