The night before
When Kazuya came back to Lilica's room after his phone call, Lilica was gone from her room. The window was opened and her motorcycle was gone.
Kazuya quickly went out to find her. He mobilized his personal forces to find her. He told Ven about her disappearance and asked him where she would go. But Ven didn't know since he didn't know where Lilica frequented in the human world. However, Ven didn't tell Kazuya that she would usually go to the nosiest club whenever she felt down.
Kazuya visited many places she had mentioned to him before but still couldn't find her. Meanwhile Ven had searched for Lilica at noisy clubs and finally, he found her.
He didn't tell Kazuya of their whereabouts until he took Lilica back to her apartment. Ven told Kazuya that she had went to a club and was very drunk and said that she didn't want to see Kazuya.
Kazuya heard that and insisted on meeting her at first, but Ven told him that she already fell asleep so he could only go home. The fact that Ven had found Lilica before him was frustrating. He also disliked their closeness. Perhaps it was jealousy. He couldn't understand why he would feel jealous at the thought of her together with Ven. He didn't feel like this for her when they met for the first time. Although she was very beautiful, he didn't really care about her as he initially thought she was just those type of greedy women. He was actually the type of person who was indifferent towards everyone except those close to him or was interesting to him.

At first, he was just using her as a substitute to fulfill his wishes. But as he got to know her, he started developing feelings for her unknowingly.
Kazuya went home and saw his 'wife' talking on the phone with his mother. The way Kazuya looked at Lilienne was warm, but he noticed that there was a change in his feelings, even though he didn't realize since when. The way he had looked at her before was filled with love, warmth and longing. However, now, it was only feelings of warmth and familial love.
'Hah. I really am a fickle person. I've spent my whole life loving one woman, only to change my mind when I met another for just three months. No wonder she didn't choose me.' Kazuya thought to himself as he acknowledged his newfound feelings.
