"Bye mummy… Bye Daddy, have fun!" Joy said as she hugged Xue Ting.
"Be careful alright… enjoy yourself." Xue Ting said before hugging Matthew next.
"Aww, do you really have to go? Why can't you come with us on the company trip? It's also a hiking trip." Whined little Brisbane at the twins as Xue Ting gently patted Brisbane to comfort her.
Matthew squatted to help Brisbane adjust her right side ponytail.
"'Be a good girl alright? We will be back in two nights…" Matthew persuaded as Brisbane smiled and hugged him.
"Alright, time to let them head to their hiking trip else they will miss the bus and run late… come let's go pack a little more for your bag Brisbane." Qiu Wen tried coaxing while carrying her in his arms as she waved to the twins with a slight pout.
As the trio drove to the campsite, everyone was getting ready to set up their tent with Jia Yi helping to set up for Qiu Wen and his little family.
"Oh, you didn't have to help with this. I could have done it. I forgot to mention I had to tag along this little girl for Dan as they are heading back on trial next week." Qiu Wen said to Jia Yi who nodded.
"I think it fits all of you well. I picked a spacious one in fact since there's two of you initially…" Jia Yi explained before an announcement was made for everyone to gather.
Qiu Wen was made to join the same team as Francesca and Alfred due to Francesca's specific instruction to Liew Wei to ensure that happened. That made Xue Ting and Brisbane join in with Jia Yi automatically which was further arranged by Qiu Yeh who coordinated with both secretaries.
Brisbane was annoyed once again seeing Qiu Wen was not with them as Xue Ting had to coax her to get going on the hike.
"Hmph, why is everyone leaving us? I'm so angry!" Brisbane decided to throw her tantrum upon learning she was not allowed to join Qiu Wen.
"Baby, let's go. Only then can we see Daddy Ryan. Come on…" Xue Ting gently patted her back as she buried her face into Xue Ting's chest.
"No!" She vented as Jia Yi tried to carry her.
"Come let uncle carry you up to find your daddy Ryan? It would hurt your mummy's back if she carried you all the way. You don't want her to get injured too and don't you want to see your daddy Ryan quickly?" Jia Yi coaxed as he quickly grabbed her into his arms when he felt Brisbane was slowly letting go of Xue Ting.
Xue Ting could only mouthed to him her gratitude as Brisbane instantly became active again when they reached the steps to the little hill. She was curiously questioning many things which felt like it was her first time seeing nature. Fortunately for Xue Ting, Jia Yi was very patient which made her think he would become a good father in the future.
Considering the need to care for an unexpected little child, Qiu Yeh had exempted Xue Ting's team from treasure hunting. He only told Jia Yi about it and had him accompany them to keep them safe.
Along the way, Qiu Wen was trying his best to look for the treasures based on the clues given trying to ignore the couple while Alfred was half searching and half accommodating Francesca who knowingly was trying to catch Qui Wen's attention but failed miserably.

Francesca had no choice but to pull out her last card. She pretended to fall and twisted her ankle when both guys did not notice.
"Ouch!!" She screamed as she sat on the ground holding to her ankle. Alfred was first to rush towards her while Qiu Wen hesitated to check on her but was forced to when Alfred waved at him.
He jogged over while Alfred tried to straighten Francesca's leg before she screamed in pain.
"You better put on an act saying I twisted my ankle…" Francesca whispered between her gritted teeth to Alfred who instantly knew to play along.
"What happened? What's wrong?" Qiu Wen asked as Alfred was still checking.
"I think she twisted her ankle…" Alfred updated. Just when Qiu Wen wanted to suggest for them to head down first while he continued the mission, the thunder began to rumble.
"Let's get her down quickly. It's going to rain!" Qiu Wen said as he walked down but saw Alfred struggling to carry Francesca down. He had no choice but to help him out by carrying Francesca on his back. He was beginning to wonder if it was all Francesca's scheme.
Brisbane was busy observing the tiny daisies when the thunder suddenly rumbled. Xue Ting quickly went over to her but surprisingly Brisbane had learned to be brave. Instead of hugging her for refuge, she was imitating the sound of the drums like Matthew had always taught her to release her fear.
"Good girl… come let's head down before the rain comes…" Xue Ting urged as Jia Yi carried her and hastened his steps with Xue Ting. Many other staff were also making their way down.
At the foot of the hill where everyone was gathered in a shade to prepare barbeque for dinner, Qiu Yeh was busy assigning tasks. Once again he purposely skipped assigning to Xue Ting's team as he watched the trio resting.
After checking one round on attendance, they realised Qiu Wen's team had not made it back and his mobile was out of reach. It worried Xue Ting for a while as whenever there was Francesca, there would always be nothing good coming from her. What surprised her was moments later, Xue Ting was greeted by Qiu Wen who was piggy-carrying Francesca all the way from the hill to the shade. Qiu Yeh quickly rushed the medics over to check on them.
"She twisted her ankle…" Qiu Wen said to the officers before trying to walk away only to be caught by Francesca.
"I want to head to the hospital for a check-up. It's very painful…" She pleaded in pain as Qiu Wen looked at Alfred.
"Well, he can take you…" Qiu Wen pointed but Alfred shook his head.
"I didn't drive. Only you did." Alfred pointed out as Qiu Wen nearly rolled his eyes in agitation when Xue Ting went up to him. Though she had her doubts, but Francesca did put on a good believable act of being in pain.
"Hey, it's alright. Go ahead. Drive her down. Bring along Jia Yi to help. We will be fine." Xue Ting pointed to Jia Yi who stood not too far away from where Brisbane who was playing with Liew Wei.
Qiu Yeh nodded in agreement to his brother.
Qiu Wen was furious but he knew he had no other options. At Xue Ting's persuasion, he reluctantly agreed. "But I will leave Jia Yi with you." He insisted as Xue Ting smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Drive safe and slow. It's raining. I will for your call on updates alright." Xue Ting comforted him as he gave her a quick hug and stole a kiss before leaving the shade to fetch the car to the entrance as a few other male employees helped Alfred to bring Francesca to the entrance.
Xue Ting then noticed Jia Yi was standing by the side looking at Liew Wei playing with Brisbane skeptically.
"Looks like there's something going on that I didn't know of?" Qiu Yeh asked approaching Xue Ting.
"You know I was wondering if she was willing to be an undercover genuinely because of my threat that day or if there was something to do with her heart…" Xue Ting smiled slyly at Qiu Yeh who was chuckling.
"Hard on you today my beloved sister-in-law. Why don't you sit and wait for the barbeque to be ready?" Qiu Yeh led her to the main table where the management was supposed to sit.
"Wait a minute… We should help out too." Xue Ting suggested leaving Qiu Yeh raising his eyebrow in surprise.
"Why not? The more help the faster we eat. Oh, let's scrap the nonsense appreciation speech on the agenda but instead let's open mic for whoever who wants to sing on stage as entertainment. Let's have fun!" She suggested as Qiu Yeh nodded in agreement before she went up on stage.
"Good evening everybody! Can I have your attention for a moment?" Xue Ting waved on stage as everyone began to calm down a little.
"Good…" Before she could say anything else, Qiu Yeh snatched the mic from her.
"Apologies for the chaos earlier. Let's scrap the agenda tonight and have barbeques with an open mic singing session! So, you singers out there, are you ready?!" Qiu Yeh enthusiastically announced which got everyone excited while Xue Ting laughed and left the stage to him.
The staffs who were handling the barbeques were not comfortable with Xue Ting helping at first but ended up seeing how quick she was in setting up and grilling, everyone naturally fell into pace with her. Without much hassle, dinner was served with great performances from good singers Qiu Yeh had organised.
Midway through dinner, some staff began to persuade Qiu Yeh to sing on stage as well since he had been a great organiser but Qiu Yeh was reluctant. Xue Ting could not help but laugh at his effort of failing to escape his fate to sing on stage.
She recalled the Tang brothers were great singers just the same as James back then. However, Qiu Yeh was always the best singer among them all.
She was glad to get the chance to listen to him serenade the crowd that night with several songs. It was a waste for him to own a couple of bars only to drink occasionally there she thought to herself. She wondered if he ever secretly sang sometimes cause his voice was still as melodious as when he was in high school.
Midway, he did not let Xue Ting go off without a performance as he dragged Xue Ting up on stage to sing one song with him while he played the guitar. The crowd was mesmerised by the duo's performance.
After that night, he definitely won many fans among the employees and so did Xue Ting.
