"Enough… Alright, I will work it out as planned. Let's send Mr. Jiu a set of plum flower designs from a ring, necklace, hairpin, bracelet, anklet, and even a belt or scarf. For such a business concept, we should have several designs to match the present pieces of jewelry range in production. That way it would help boost the sales of existing products indirectly unless the customer has a specific design which deviates a lot from the normal production. Then, we will charge a higher premium on such a request?" Xue Ting suggested as Qiu Wen pondered for a while.

"If I were to customise a special piece for you, I would certainly hope it's one and only." Qiu Wen gave his honest opinion.

"You're… right…" Xue Ting gave it a thought but could not help grinned. He did not hesitate to steal a kiss on her cheek.

"But that doesn't mean your idea is a waste. It depends on the customer's budget and criteria. In that case, we would have them evaluated through questionnaires to help understand where they fit?" Qiu Wen suggested as Xue Ting nodded in agreement after pondering awhile.

Jia Yi went to work the next day as usual only to begin receiving updates from Liew Wei.

She was busy putting the final touches on the designs for Mr. Jiu she was working on the whole morning in Jang's Cove when she received the text message. She sighed at the chaos but also smiled at Liew Wei's acceptance.

"Arrange for Qiu Wen to meet me at Jang's Cove without telling him I want to meet him." Xue Ting replied as she prepared a personal table on the lawn while Xiao Ji and Macy were wondering about her plans.

"Who made a booking here?" Macy asked curiously.

"Oh, just my boss from another job. Hope you don't mind. Don't worry I will ensure all expenses are paid for while he works here." Xue Ting assured leaving Macy and Xiao Ji laughing.

"Sicily, since when do we ever mind? The old couple didn't bother either. After all, without you, Jang's Cove wouldn't survive this far." Xiao Ji said while helping her out.

"Thank you… I feel bad not being able to help much now…" Xue Ting apologised as Macy smacked her back playfully.

Relax and enjoy what you do best." Xiao Ji said as she passed Xue Ting her tablet and ran in to serve her tea, ensuring when Qiu Wen came the couple could work comfortably.

However, Qiu Wen knew it was probably due to Francesca that this strange arrangement came up despite Jia Yi tried his best to lure him to Jang's Cove with the excuse that Mr. Jiu had decided to meet them there today. Hence, he still headed to the office sending panic to Liew Wei and Jia Yi.

Liew Wei then texted Xue Ting on the situation as Xue Ting knew she had to personally pull Qiu Wen away. As she drove with her completed designs, she told Jia Yi to arrange a meet-up with Mr. Jiu for lunch with her and Qiu Wen in the restaurant near their office building instead.

This time, Qiu Wen did not think much about it thinking Mr. Jiu was probably impatient about the designs or if he had any last-minute changes that the morning's appointment might even be genuine. So, he agreed to it on the way into office.

Meanwhile, upon hearing such absurd changes to the branch, Francesca was thinking about the cost versus benefit. Qiu Wen stepped in late that morning due to the intentional delays caused by Jia Yi. "Xavier!" He was startled by the sudden barge at his office door. He did not need to lift his head to know Francesca was making a ruckus. Instead, he took a deep breath and maintained his composure.

"Ms. Wei, where's the courtesy?" Qiu Yeh sternly asked without glancing at her.

She scoffed. "Courtesy? What is this intruding on the area of my authority? Have you ever discussed with me before you head on to change the business operation?" She bellowed as Qiu Yeh gave her a smirk.

"Explain the reason the sales figures are jumping off the wagon?" Qiu Yeh crossed his arms in front of her.

"That's cause you had hired a lousy design advisor who did not focus on the cost. What's the point of paying attention to the designs only?" Francesca retaliated exactly to Qiu Yeh's expectations.

"Then, why am I still getting so high returns and defects from the factory's report on HQ's products too?" Qiu Yeh raised an eyebrow at her who was lost for words. He knew the look on her face was the taste of defeat.

"Why am I to answer anything related to HQ?" She shrugged the responsibilities away just as expected.

"You were appointed to the branch only recently. Your performance in HQ was reflected in the first quarter sales. Why wouldn't it be related to your performance Ms. Wei?" He stood up and gave her a stern look.

"If you continue harassing me this way, don't think my father would hesitate to pull out his investments." She threatened as Qiu Yeh chuckled.

"Harassment?" He scoffed. "Is there anything else better you could bring up in your defense?" He mocked her as she fumed in anger stomping out of his office.

He knew he was asking for trouble but again without Mr. Wei's investments, he trusted his new business proposition would work well in his branch business to support the setbacks. At worst, he could just forgo everything and live with his side businesses.

The vibration of his phone startled his thoughts away. He gladly picked up the call from Qiu Wen.

"Bro… I have a business proposal you might want to take a look at. It was raised by Ting Ting last night which could aid in boosting revenue holistically." Qiu Wen explained as Qiu Yeh smiled and nodded.

"Knew I could count on you both. Well then, let's discuss now. On my way to your office." He suggested.

"Can't. Got to meet up with our next customised order client in abit. Let's meet in the afternoon?" Qiu Wen said before making his way to the lift lobby.

"Sure…" Qiu Yeh sat back down and turn around to face the window enjoying the sight of greeneries which was a different view from his concrete buildings one in Wai Tao.

Little did Qiu Wen know he would have to change the venue to a lakeside by the park after lunch when Xue Ting turned up with her design proposals for Mr. Jiu during lunch. Mr. Jiu was indeed getting excited about the gift that he quickly finalised the designs he wanted so that Xue Ting could order the materials and work on the end product soon.

"The meeting earlier was initiated by you wasn't it?" Qiu Wen stopped typing facing his wife in Lakeside Park on a breezy afternoon. Xue Ting smiled without looking at him while sketching her drafts on her tablet and he knew his answer.

"Why would you want us to work here?" Qiu Wen questioned as he sat staring at his laptop with red bulging eyes and blinked multiple times.

She knew he was exhausted from the looks of it as she stopped sketching her designs on her tablet before walking over to him. He caught her onto his lap.

"Cause I knew you would be this tired…" She lied.

"Oh, not because somebody in my office is creating chaos?" He teased as she smiled knowing he knew about the reports made by Liew Wei.

"Partly was the cause of that. Partly was also…" Before she could say she wanted a date with her husband, Qiu Yeh interrupted them.

"Hello, lovebirds! What a location for a meeting?" He greeted as Xue Ting leaped off Qiu Wen's lap.

"Qiu Yeh…" Xue Ting greeted him as he hastily hushed the couple and sat in Xue Ting's place while Qiu Wen pulled her back to his lap.

"I don't have much time. I have an appointment next. I'm just escaping from that ruckus in the office. Speaking of which, regardless of what's the plan, it's time to be more vigorous with shifting out your assets bro." Qiu Yeh said to Qiu Wen as Xue Ting frowned sensing more trouble was brewing.
