Grandma who heard of the mishap news came to check on Xue Ting the next day as she was still on medical rest. Grandma was whining at the absurdity which Xue Ting was struggling to explain fairly.
"Grandma trust me it was really just an accident. Francesca was losing her balance that if I wasn't there, she would have fallen badly and things could be worse." Xue Ting comforted.
"But look who is suffering now? You're more precious than her let me tell you. Don't ever sacrifice yourself that way! You're the granddaughter-in-law of the Tang family." Grandma scolded as Xue Ting sighed and passed her a cup of tea to soothe her anger.
"Alright, alright. Drink some tea to calm down." Xue Ting comforted again.
"Is it really alright now your arm? Let grandma see…" Grandma fidgeted with her arm which was almost recovered but she could still feel some pain as she endured.
"It is really fine. Could you persuade Qiu Wen to withdraw the restraining order instead? It was really not her fault." Xue Ting pleaded as Grandma rolled her eyes.
"I'm not going to get involved in this matter. It's Qiu Wen's affair so I will let him handle them. But I must praise him for his actions. I support it." Grandma giggled sending Xue Ting back in despair at Grandma's mischief.
A part of her felt it was unnecessary but seeing she could not get either Grandma or Qiu Wen to drop the order, she could only live with it hoping for no more trouble.
That evening, after Grandma left, Xue Ting decided to continue with her art of the month for May's gallery. Sketching a theme of a growing floral garden on a sunny day made her notice her right arm would experience spasms and tires easily as she lifted it.
Joy who was walking past the study's room noticed Xue Ting was massaging her hand. "Mummy, are you alright?" Matthew who heard that question from the living room quickly headed over to the study.
"I'm good. Just the arm tires very often." Xue Ting said as she let Joy help her massage it.
"Must be the after-effects. Mummy, you should rest more." Matthew pointed out worriedly.
"I hope I could but I get bored easily. The doctor had said it was good to go though." Xue Ting said as she sighed. "Maybe I would need to draw with my left now but it would not be as good output as my right." Xue Ting lamented with a pout as Joy patted her back gently.
"Let me help you beautify it then." Joy offered as Xue Ting nodded with a sad smile.
"Make sure you don't let daddy know." Xue Ting reminded them both as they both nodded reluctantly. Matthew felt bad for Xue Ting but there was really nothing much he could do except to keep his promise.
"We will help out more often in the restaurant then." Matthew offered knowing it was summer and they were on holiday so it was the right choice since Xue Ting was on medical rest.
"It's alright. You both should enjoy your holidays and head on your camping trip this Friday. I will be back to work tomorrow already." Xue Ting cheered happily at her freedom as she hugged her twins who were still a little skeptical but obediently obliged.
As for Francesca, she was having tea with Mrs. Tang while explaining proudly of the accident. "Don't worry that peasant won't be able to use her arm properly and by then, Qiu Wen would not even want her anymore since she might be handicapped. Then you would have a chance. You're so lucky!" Mrs. Tang was praising Francesca as a way to comfort her who had been guilty of the accident and by the restraining order.

"But that's really not how things are. Qiu Wen is really determined about her." Francesca pointed out worriedly.
"Why? Are you afraid? Competition is everywhere. Don't worry even if he still wants her I will reject and mark my words I have my ways to turn that boy obedient again. Meanwhile, you should prepare yourself for your inauguration party this Friday. I doubt she will be able to join." Mrs. Tang pointed out as Francesca's face lit up at ideas to make the press report them as an ideal couple.
At that Friday's party, Xue Ting was due to attend the inauguration party as Qiu Wen's wife other than as the caterer. She worries a lot that after the recent incident, her right arm was not as strong as before. She would experience spasms occasionally if she did not rest enough and if Qiu Wen figured it out, she would only attract more trouble. So it was best if she avoided attending the party as his wife and left early to rest.
While preparing breakfast that Friday morning, Joy urged her to wear the green dress she designed for Xue Ting long ago. It was really nice showing all her curves but she did not want to stand out so much.
"Mummy, just wear it… Once. You have been avoiding that piece of dress all this while. There's daddy now to protect you." Joy continued to persuade her.
"No, baby. I don't want to attract trouble. Enough with it. Now sit and eat." Xue Ting instructed as Joy pouted with a sour face but decided to protest as she packed her breakfast and left while stomping her feet.
"Sweetie, what happened?" Qiu Wen asked when he spotted Joy being upset while descending the stairs with Matthew.
"Mummy refuses to wear the green dress I designed! I'm in protest now. Not going to speak to her." She said angrily before heading to the sofa in the living room with her breakfast as Matthew chuckled.
"It's really… enticing. That dress. I agree," Matthew chuckled as he sat at the kitchen table with Qiu Wen.
"Show me the dress…" Qiu Wen whispered but a little too loud to Matthew who chuckled when Xue Ting spun around.
"Tang Qiu Wen! Stop adding more fuel to the topic." Xue Ting scolded as she sat with them for breakfast.
"Would you come with me to the inauguration tonight in that dress?" He asked casually while eating his toast in an attempt to persuade her.
"Why? You usually like going alone and leaving me out of this since it's not that official duty." She stood and wanted to walk away to the pantry to refill her tea, leaving out the dress topic.
He then caught her arm and swung her to his lap. It startled her for a bit as she stared into his eyes.
That was enough to send Matthew standing and packing his breakfast in a rush.
"Hey, watch it! The kids are around." Xue Ting scolded at the sound of the chair being dragged as Matthew stood.
"Sorry, sorry! Carry on! We are leaving for our camp and will be back on Sunday! Enjoy the weekend!" Matthew stuttered a little as he rushed out of the kitchen, quickly packed up, and urged Joy who was giggling at Qiu Wen's success, to do the same in the awkward situation.
Seeing the cooperation of the twins, Qiu Wen flashed his devilish look at Xue Ting.
"Because I want to tell the world who my wife is." He teased while kissing her forehead.
She smirked while trying to get up. "That won't be necessary."
"Have a good trip babies!" She yelled out while he pestered her harder down to his lap.
"Don't worry I will send you a picture of her in that dress!" Qiu Wen yelled out as Joy jumped up in excitement.
"It's in her wardrobe!" She squealed before accidentally slamming the front door while leaving with Matthew in excitement.
"Hey! Watch it! The door will collapse one day!" Xue Ting scolded but it was too late. The twins had left.
"It is. It matters to me. At least since the company is hiring Francesca as the head of the sales department. Even more reasons to show the world how strong our love is. I promise I will keep it short but you ought to wear that dress else you know how upset Qiu Qiu would be and it's enough for her to be angry with one of us." He further persuaded in his seductive voice.
She sighed in defeat as she smiled. "Fine, I will see you at the venue. I had to work too." With that agreement, he kissed her lips before she could run away. She unexpectedly deepened their kiss till they both ran out of breath.
"Thank you." He gently placed his head on hers.
"Get to work. You're getting late." She whispered.
"Who cares when I'm the boss?" He teased.
"Wen Wen, responsibility, please." She quickly got up and escaped to the sink.
"Fine fine. I will see you tonight." He walked closer to give her one last kiss before leaving for work.
