Sam landed gracefully on his meditation mat, marveling at the sudden connection he felt with his body. Every part of him was under his control, and he experimented, making his fingers bend in ways that were unnatural. No longer would he suffer from broken bones, for he no longer had bones to break. Notifications spiraled across his vision, and he opened the first one.

Unlike last time, Sam now knew that holding off on his upgrade would prevent him from gaining stat points from his level up until he did so. With a wide smile, he pressed yes.
He stepped into a stygian void, dominated by three glowing figures. Each of them radiated a massive amount of energy. The first one was a man clad in dark armor, clutching a hammer that was clearly patterned after Sam’s own. In his hand he clutched a head, a trophy from some planet spanning hunt. Blood stained his armor, and a wild smile split his face.
Hunter of Myth: Ancient
You are the hunter that stands at the apogee of his craft, capable of killing those of higher Tiers. Not through trickery, deception or traps do you achieve this either. Rather, your strength is such that you can cross the chasms that separate the elites of the universe from the chaff. Hunt well, Sam Atlas, and may the universe run red with the blood of your enemies.
+25 to Strength, +25 to Dexterity, +10 to Resilience, +10 to Constitution, +10 free stat points per level
+25 percent damage to those at least 50 levels, or one Rank, above you.
Sam’s eyes nearly came out of his head as he saw the bonuses. They were far beyond any he had seen before, at least for a class. It seemed that Jeffrey had been underestimating the gaps between classes and their power. However, he wanted to withhold his judgment before proceeding.

The next figure was that of a mage, wreathed in the arcane fires of creation. A staff was clutched in one hand, and eyes of cerulean light blazed from beneath a hood. A halo patterned after a galaxy swirled around the man’s brow, and a sense of ineffable power swirled around him.
Cosmic Acolyte: Ancient
Forming skills at F Rank is usually a task that ends in mediocre success, or outright failure. Legendary is a rarity to be proud of, and Mythical is one to dream of. Creating an Ancient Skill is a feat of legend, and a Primal one, a feat out of the annals of the early Multiverse. However, you have done all those, proving your connection to the arcane energies of the universe. You follow one of the most ancient paths to power, that of magic itself.
+30 to Intelligence, +30 to Wisdom, +10 to Resilience, +10 to Constitution per level.
Increased ease of higher rarity skill formation.
This class did not give any free stat points, but he would gain those easily enough from his rank.
For now, he left it behind, and continued on towards the last option. It was one that seemed far more suited to his Dao. From what he could tell, reaching E Rank had unlocked three options for him, one formed around his body, one around his spirit and one around his mind. If he was right about this, then the last one would be his Dao related class.
The man who floated in the middle of space was far plainer than the others, save for a faint aura of light surrounding him. There was little else to tell about the man, save for how outwardly innocuous he was. However, the description was anything but.
Lesser Dao Paragon: Ancient
Those who follow the paths of the body and mind are as commonplace as grains of sand. Those who follow the path of the soul are far rarer. Forming Daos comes easily to you, as befits your heritage, and forming a Dao Seed, and upgrading it, before E Rank is a testament to this in the extreme.
+15 to all stats per level.
All bonuses of Greater Dao Visionary class.
Further 25 percent boost to Dao comprehension.
Further boost to merging opposing Daos.
Sam withdrew from the figures, and contemplated his options. Unlike last time, all of the classes were extremely good. He already had a substantial boost to his Dao comprehension abilities without his class, and the bonuses from the two non Dao related classes were extremely tempting. The Hunter of Myth class would be invaluable going forward, with its boost to higher rank damage. It would allow him to fight up levels even more efficiently than before.
Meanwhile, the Cosmic Acolyte class would allow him to further boost his most powerful skills, potentially allowing him to upgrade them to levels untold. Each rarity rank of a skill was somewhat of a force multiplier. For example, his Ancient projectile skill could take out a few city blocks, but his Primal skill could take out a small city. He could only guess as to what the next rarity would bring. In addition to this, the bonuses scaled with how much power he possessed, which meant that the further he leveled, the more damage he could do.
As he contemplated, he found that it was incredibly hard to actually make a decision. All of the options were incredible, but he could only choose one. Of the options, he was leaning more towards the Hunter of Myth class. It would play into his strengths. However, as he went to do so, there was a sudden sense of loss, coming from the Lesser Dao Paragon class.
