Because of the way that his title worked, there was no point in placing single points into a stat any more. It took at least two points to increase it by the 1.325x multiplier that he had from his various titles. Now his Resilience was his second stat over 20. With a quick bit of mental math, he saw that he could get his Strength over 30 if he put three of his points into it, but then he would have a floating point. Instead, he made an even split between Strength and Constitution. More smashing power and more health, what wasn't there to love? The format of the System was kind of annoying to him,as there were some floating variables that didn't have much information with them. He knew that it was for the best as his stat list would be way too long to read otherwise, but it just seemed incomplete. With a small effort of will, he changed the format to make it a bit more streamlined.

Sam nodded to himself in satisfaction. That looked a lot better than the last one had been. He had made it so that if he needed to, which was unlikely, he would be able to expand the sections that dealt with his skills and titles, while still being to keep track of how many he had and how powerful they were. With that all done, he took out his information crystal and used it. Immediately, his brain was flooded with information. This one was a lot larger than the System Guide had been and the table of contents appeared in front of him.
Factions of the Multiverse(Only Factions of the B Rank or higher are included, for the sake of relevancy and mental capacity.)
1.B Rank Factions
i.Low B Rank Factions
ii.Mid B Rank factions
iii.High B Rank factions
2.A Rank Factions
i.Mid A Rank factions
ii.High A Rank factions.
3.The Darkstar Conquerors(addendum)
Sam saw that the information on Tantalos Veruvax had indeed been added, under the name of his faction. He opened the entry and began to read.
This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
The Darkstar Conquerors are a relatively recent(on a multiversal scale) faction that have become somewhat infamous on account of their leader, Tantalos Veruvax. Known as The Butcher, Veruvax has adopted an unconventional cultivation path. Rather than following more orthodox methods of cultivation, Veruvax has taken to the practice of slaughtering whole universes for their power. Only a powerful C Rank faction like this one could ever hope to do such a thing. Rumor has it that he is stuck on the bottleneck of the cusp of the B Rank and wishes to break through into the B Rank proper. Even as a C Rank, his power is higher than a decent fraction of B Ranks and he is feared in many sectors of the Multiverse. While frowned upon by many more powerful beings, this practice of harvesting universes has been allowed to continue and has spawned a host of imitative groups that replicate the method but on a smaller scale. So far, this group has harvested the energy of over a thousand universes.
Sam closed his System interface to check if anything was happening outside that he needed to check in on. All that was happening was that Rax was receiving a few belly rubs from Jeffrey. He smiled and went back into the information log.

3.The Darkstar Conquerors(addendum)
This was a great chance for him to learn more about the Multiverse into which he had been initialized. He wanted to start from the bottom, so he selected Low B Rank first.
Low B Rank Factions(For the sake of clarity, only the top five are included, as there would be thousands otherwise.)
1.The Samsara Raiders:A group of pirates who follow the tenets of the Karmic Cycle.
2.The Illuvian Confederacy:A merchant group made up of the various kingdoms of the Illuvian Sector.
3:Elantoras’ Scions:A dynastic kingdom made up of the sons of the self proclaimed Golden Emperor, Elantoras.
4.The New Multiversal Order:A heretical branch of the Church of Potency, an offshoot of the Grand Unified Church of the Sacred System, who claim that a grand culling of the Multiverse must be ordained, in order to direct essence to those who deserve it. So far, they have not succeeded.
5.The Green Horde:A massive conglomeration of various Teruvarian tribes, who roam the Deep Interbranal Space looking for a worthy battle.
Each of these had a link to more and more information, which Sam selected for the first one. Immediately, a historical account of the groups appeared, but as he noticed after a few minutes of reading, it did not contain anything that could be seen as private information.
For example, the Illuvian Confederacy had suffered a public relations scandal millions of years ago after one of their higher ranking nobles had gone on a genocidal killing spree of lower ranked universes. Of course, nothing had been done about it by the authorities, but the group itself eventually reined their scion in, never to be seen again in public. Other than those details, nothing else was said, especially the names of anyone involved. He would leave the nitty gritty stuff for later, all he wanted right now was a brief overview of the factions. All of this stuff was intensely diverting, and he had to be careful not to spend too long looking at it.
The next group were the mid B Ranked factions.
Mid B Rank Factions(For the sake of clarity, only the top five are included, as there would be hundreds otherwise.)
1.Altorias the Undying:A unique faction, this one only has one member. Altorias is an immensely powerful undead who has perfected the art of fractal cloning, allowing him to create a near infinite army of his own clones. Altorias is connected to all of these clones by a hive mind link.
2.The Order of the Inviolate Dao:An offshoot of the Grand Unified Church of the Sacred System, this order is dedicated to the perusal of the Dao in order to prove the supremacy of the System over all else. None of their members are warriors, but researchers who seek to find the ultimate Dao. Their efforts have been in vain.
3.The Biologic Hegemony:An order of genetic researchers who seek to create the ultimate lifeform. Their studies have led to the creation of countless monstrosities, such as the chimeras.
4.The Alchemists’ Guild:A group of alchemists from across the Multiverse who seek to create the ultimate potion, one of immortality. A group of idealistic fools, they are persecuted by the true immortals of the Multiverse who do not wish for their secrets to be shared.
5.The Minorian Sect: A group of rogue cultivators whose perversions of morality have drawn the wrath of the rest of the Multiverse down on them. Most will choose death rather than submit to their foul ministrations.
As Sam had suspected earlier with the System guide, the System was the author of all of these missives. No impersonal narrator would call any group idealistic fools, unless they had a stake in their oppression. Most of this stuff went straight over Sam’s head, he had no idea of the context, but it was illuminating stuff nonetheless. He was on to the final part of the missive.
High B Rank Factions
1.The Adventurers' Guild: A confederation of dungeon delvers, fighters and all sorts of practitioners of the warrior’s path, this group contains the vast majority of all professional mercenaries and soldiers for hire.
2.The Tartarians: With a Multiverse’s worth of people, there is a Multiverse’s worth of felons. As to the question of where these are to be housed, the Tartarians have the answer. The foremost experts in security, the greatest wardens in the Multiverse, the Tartarians will guard your prisoners for a fair price, contact today for more information.
3.The Prophets of the Machine God:A group made up of those universes that were especially technologically advanced before the advent of the System, these people seek to take control of the System itself for their own foul ends. Spurn these foul heretics, for they are the epitome of evil. Killing them will give additional rewards.
4.The Isolationists:Most empires seek to expand outwards into the Multiverse, but the Isolationists prize quality over quantity. They reside in only a single universe, but are the furthest thing from weak imaginable. Would be conquerors seeing a seemingly weak target ripe for the picking have found their empires dismantled utterly by teams of high B Rank cultivators. Every member of the group has the power of a galactic ruler in their own right, and the leaders are far beyond most others.
Sam had thought that targeted advertising would have vanished after the apocalypse, but apparently not, as shown by the Tartarians.
The number of factions between the two ranks had dropped drastically. There was probably some sort of criteria for being considered a certain part of a rank. He felt a small connection to the description of the Isolationists. Was that the key to survival for their universe? He knew that he was getting ahead of himself, thinking so far into the future, but he had no inclination to try and create a multi-universal empire. This was the height of hubris, thinking about things such as this, but on the off chance that he did succeed, it would be worth it.
Before he told his companions about what he had found, he checked out the final section of the guide. The one with the A Rank factions.
Mid A Rank factions
1.The Grand Unified Church of the Sacred System:The preeminent faith of the Multiverse, the church is controlled by its true masters, the Cardinals and the Pope of the church, who live further up inside the Boundless Expanse. Second only to the Creator Kings in power inside this Multiverse, they are not a force to be trifled with.
Those were the people that Jeffrey had told him about. He had known that they were strong, but he hadn't expected them to be the second most powerful faction in the Multiverse. Finally there was the last faction.
High A Rank factions
1.The Creator Kings:The most powerful faction in the Multiverse, the Creator Kings are the undisputed rulers of it. The 99 most powerful beings in the Multiverse banded together trillions of years ago to form a ruling body for their holdings. This led to the formation of this faction. All other factions, save for the Church of the System, answer to them in some capacities.
