"Today I want to tell you about the class most powerful skill" Nariza started their lesson under the watchful eye of Meroa and appaarantly a living staff that was actually a Player avatar used by a dead person who had his mind uploaded to the servers so he could live forever like Allen and Shoul and probably others.

"The allure skillset is a group of passive skills" she explained, "you can only have one at any time", adding, "and they level up with your character", emphasizing the point, "so you have to choose wisely because changing them later will hurt you a lot"

Taking a breath, "a few of the allure skills work on specific senses like my old avatar Sutul had the 'Alluring sight' skill at a master level", pausing for another breath, "there are three main features that are important to know for all the skills in the set", this was the hardest part to make into words, "the trigger, the effect and the resistance".

"A trigger can be many things", elaborating, "it can be smell or sight or voice", Allen nodded, "but it can also be something you create like art or your very presence"

"What is the resurgence effect for the class" Allen asked.

"The what effect?" Nariza didn't know the word and thought he was asking about something in her explanation.

"Resurgence", looking puzzled Allen shifted his gaze between them, "when you reach the max level for a class and despawn it you get to keep some of the skills or stats from your previous run", looking at Meroa, "it's how your avatar Kyatha could have multiple ultimate spells without them clashing"

Seeing they still didn't understand, "what happens when a max level avatar dies?" he checked and the mechanics were still there.

"If it's a legacy avatar you just pay the fine and it respawns at the same level of its death", Kyatha had a bad feeling about some mistakes that may have been made unknowingly through the generations of her family.

"And if a none legacy character dies?", the dragon asked.

"You can pay to start over at level one for the same character or get a refund for some of its skills and other features", it was a genius way to prevent people from using the mechanics if they didn't know the benefits in advance, "how do you know these things?"

"I was there when they introduced the new resurgence mechanics", thinking back, "it was a big monetary engine for the game company since players tried to max their characters", remembering, "I even took it as a joke to max a peasant", thinking their gawks to mean he was dumb to try, "it actually turned out pretty great", defending his choice for a lark, "the resurgence price was losing all your skills while the effect was a base plus ten to all attributes so free resurgence if you didn't bother with skills", adding, "and you got to keep your legacy weapon proficiency", chuckling at their shocked stares, "I know legacy weapons are trash at first sight", this line wasn't gaining him points, "but considering only peasants could master them and you could get very high base scores it evened out with their simple looking features", needing their approval he continued, "consider grandpa's sword and its drain by base charisma true damage equal base strength", trying to get the point across, "with the peasant resurgence you can make a decent damage score and the sword is indestructible", adding, "its where I got the thought to make everything I paint indestructible from"

"You made the impossible peasant?" Meroa accused him.

"It was just a joke" sounding more offended than he should be, "I can probably still spawn the avatar if you want proof"

"But it's still active" Nariza wasn't sure what he meant.

"So it became a family legacy?" He asked them hoping to meet his descendants.

"Nobody knows", Meroa interjected, "he doesn't speak and he just appears out of nowhere turns new wildlands to viable areas and vanishes at random", looking at Allen, "there are legends about him defending travelers from the most powerful monsters", trying to remember, "defeating dragons with a single slash", it made sense if what Allen said was true, "banishing vampires with a flip of his locket"

"Ha 'lover's chain' it was the best defensive legacy item", adding, "even better than 'master's chestplate' that was a good armor for a peasant if you didn't mind the strange never truely fitting feeling", explaining, "the chain gives different resistances by your base stats and they evolved if you had it on resurgence", then adding, "I only found one other resurgence item though the 'wanderers staff' that could store a new spell with each resurgence"

"Ok" Meroa breathed, "I am making a starburst dragon peasant"

"Haha good joke", Allen looked at her, "are you serious?"

"Yes", looking back at him "what is wrong with that?"

"You lose your age when you despawn", he tried to explain, "it will inhibit your dragon's growth"

"It doesn't matter", trying to explain, "if I can max my stats like you said and get these insane artefacts", that infuriating clueless man, "and be a dragon", he had to understand, "then I will make this the most powerful avatar in the game", then she realised something, "this has to be our secret", looking at Nariza, "you can't tell anyone", back to Allen, "you too", adding, "promise me"

Allen closed his eyes, "I already told Jovial", shaking his head, "he didn't believe me and the Kobolds made him pick the shopkeeper class", annoyed at the bullying his friend suffered, "it also has some good resurgence effects", going back to her request, "I promise not to tell anyone else"

"I wonder what the pilot resurgence effect will be", looking at Allen, "is there any way to find out before?"

"It was always a gamble" he tried to explain, "and sometimes you would get it wrong even after a few times of going through with it", it was a hard cncept, "you could usually tell by the greatest limitation for a class", going back to the one he knew best, "like the farmer that can't gain stats from items he isn't proficient in and is only proficient in legacy items", moving forward, "some people thought the resurgence bonus was for the proficiency and others believed it was the extra base stats but in reality it was the skill removal that has the greatest effect because with higher stats you could take new skill trees previously locked"

"This is a pretty complex system", Meroa finally said, "whoever came up with it was a genius and whoever made money by hiding it was even smarter"

"Whenever red and green collaborate the results are unexpectedly good", Allen said cryptically.

"Who are red and green?" Meroa heard him talk about them before.

"They are designers for the system", adding, "I thought they died a thousand years ago and others took their roles", thinking, "but since I met Shoul I realised they are probably still the same people and still building things while living like I do in the game", sighing, "I wish I could meet them".

"Why not ask Emet and Gerush?" Nariza explained,  "they are from the system" adding, "maybe they know your red and green admins?"

"I will ask them", then looking at Nariza, "so you don't know the resurgence effect on the whore class?" She shook her head, "then it's trial and error", he sighed, "though I would hate to lose the age effect on the dragon stats its worth to do a few times if I can get more of those allure skills you were talking about", looking at Meroa, "I guess we will both stay young for a long time if you go ahead with your plan to be a peasant", thinking, "it's good your spellcasting is a racial skill or you could lose your spell list every time you went through a resurgence" addin' "the purpose of the 'wanderers staff' after all was to keep the spells you learned"

"It's a good thing I got here early so we still have some time to finish the explanation", Nariza tried to get back on the original tracks in the ensuing silence, "the effect of allure skills also varies", another tough subject, "some make it impossible to ignore you while others make it impossible to target you", this was the less known part, "what they all have in common is inhibition suppression", she almost didn't believe it herself, "they make the target weak to mental attacks and the effect stacks over time"

"That is a powerful skill", Allen agreed, "which really makes me wonder what the resurgence gains are", looking thoughtful, "is there a specific skill you recommend?"

"The problem with all the skills in the set is the resistance", thinking how to explain it, "because of the mental attrition", was the right word, "when someone does manage to resist it they are still weak", explaining the point, "which will make them react much more strongly", adding, "resentment turns to hatred and anger to red hot rage while fear could become absolute terror and happiness to addiction", shaking her head, "and you as the inatigator cant control it because you only have one allure skill with one effect".

"At least we know you can get more than one skill then", Allen finally said, "I fought a whore that played on my mind like a master pianist and he pushed me over from rapt attention to blind rage over and over with his voice and facial expressions"
