"Your minions ask that you bless their ceremony in your honor", Shoul said one evening, "there is a blessing only you can bestow on them", the elder looked Allen in the eyes and added, "only you can cure their Feral plague"
The words triggered something inside Allen and the required actions and words popped in his memory, "maybe I should indulge them", he said after thinking, "this morning BoneSmith brought me a very nice ruby pendant", it took him days to start calling the minions by their names but Shoul was right again when he said it would make them grateful if he remembered which treasure each of them gave him.
Rubies were his favorites, their color contrasting nicely against his diamond scales, he should ask for more of them from his minions, "when is this ceremony happening?" he asked Shoul.
"If you can attend then they will prepare everything for you by the time you get there", Shoul liked talking in long sentences, extending every word in his soothing rumbling voice.
"Will you give me another book to upload later?", trying his luck didn't allways work with Shoul but it cost nothing to try and everything if he didn't.
"Fine" the elder sighed, "but I will choose which book", he looked at Allen, "there are different kinds of treasures than precious stones and gold"
"Ofcourse" Allen was hurt at the suggestion that he didn't know his treasures, "there are rare metals and monster parts that are also treasured"

Before he could list more items Shoul rudely interrupted him "thats not what I meant, you need to learn more about economics before you can amass wealth beyond what your cave can hold"
Thinking about more caves filled with treasures Allen went to the minion ceremony, he coudn't bring himself to call them Kobolds because it meant they weren't entirely his and that would be lying to them and to himself, just their personal names to distinguish between the different tributes was more than enough for them, his favorite minions were the ones from JewelSetter's family because they chose such sensible names reminding him of sparkling things back in his cave.
BoneSmith lead him to the ceremony shrine where a giant crystal floated, emanating a soft blue glow, it almost meant something to him but it was part of the shrine room and tied everything together very nicely so he decided to leave it where it was, maybe he could move his cave to this room instead.
Blessing the tied up creatures he started laughing at their threats and curses which mamade everyone in the room very quiet until the end when their eyes glowed a nice ruby shade of red and they were taken away.
"What does 'economics' mean?" Allen asked when Shour gave him the book, "what is so basic about them"
"You will have to upload the book to find out" was the usual answer Allen got whenever he asked about the contents, he usually liked to think about the words after the upload and sometimes Shoul asked some very interesting questions that really needed thinking about them.
Bursting back into Shouls' cave after less than a minute he bombarded the old dragon with questions about what he just read, seeing the elder pointing at a bunch of books stacked in a nice pile Allen grabbed them and ran back to his cave.
