Alaska was having the brightest day of her life, with insurmountable treasures in her inventory she even liked the dried date the Emperor has given her with a smile at her request, not turning it to food and letting it take a whole slot by itself she smiled foolishly at the memory.
Using the Staff of Absolute made her magic so potent she was scared by her own power, its disguise as a random Mage Staff was incredible by itself but the way the artefact channeled miniscule amounts of mana to cause gargantuan grade effects made it the most powerful item she ever read about in any levend.
Until she held The Annihalation, amply named, the spear was more like a force of nature, holding its own set of skills and Patterns it pushed beyond her physical dimensions, at breakneck speeds she moved and the world blurred around her, the only man able to match her was the emperor and she had no idea how that was even possible without hacking the murks out of the system.
Not sure what the elixir did Alaska was loath to waste it after the emperor said it was worth more than both other items combined, the statement seemed ridiculous when she first used the staff and utter madness now that she knew what The Annihilation did but she picked it on a truss to get back at him for the date and now she wasn't sure what to do with any of them, selling would be stupid, she could kill anything now so cash was no longer an issue in her life, her sky seemed broader with every breath.
This was how life should be lived, every day a dream come true, thoughts of the emperor drew her eyes to him, wind whipping his clothes as he stood in the nest and searched the horizon, his life seem so dull to her now, walking the same path for a thousand years, inheriting the most boring and wander filled job in the world, it has been three days since she delivered the message and all she could think about was going on adventures while he dragged her around conferences on logistics and ship movement through shipping lanes like sheep in a pen, the ship stopped moving and Alaska didn't see anything beside water all around them.
They were in deep oceans where monsters rivalled the Collosal ship in size, maybe they were raiding some poor beast of the deeps, noticing the weapons of the crew she now realised things were never as simple as she first thought, comparing them to her own new acquisitions didn't yield any insight about their powers beside the fact that they had them.
The sea churned and boiled, a great maelstrom rose like a tornado blotting out the sun, the once lucid waters were now a murky soup of foam and waves as something was rising from the deep, Alaska gripped the staff of ultimates when a hand fell on her shoulder, looking back and up and up and up she saw one of the giant crewmen standing by her side and shaking her head, not just any crewoman, this was Debby the legacy leutenant, second in command for the Emperor, bane of the seas, and the strongest woman in the game by so far there wasn't a margin but a grand canyon between her and even the elder Kobolds, she would be the steongest player of all if she didn't share the rank with the emperor himself and one other legend that no one had seen for hundreds of years but the legacy was kept so someone was playing the invincible Peasant.

Young girl Alaska drank the lore of the Pirate Emperor with delight but her own personal hero now stood beside her, even touched her, and Alaska was speechless, she saw the big woman pound the table in defiance of the emperor, threatening to tear the accords if he continued with his mad plan to assault the Kobold empire, one day Alaska wanted to have her name in the accords, acknowleged captain under the emperor's command.
Domane never answerd her calls and Alaska got tired of the stupid drama, she wanted adventures and now it seemed her wishes were coming to life, the waters fell from the colossal body that emerged from the sea, it had a human shape but each hand could cup the Odacious like it was a toy boat in a tub, looking down through eyes filled with storm clouds and flashing lightning, its beard was a fountain of cascading waves, holding a trident that matched its size with a handle wider than the ship, shivers ran down Alaska's back at the thought of fighting Triton himself.
"At the break of dawn we meet" the rumbling voice shattered waves for miles around but was surprisingly pleasant in Alaska's ears.
"The rising sun our witness" she heard the captain answering in a booming voice that seemed to calm the see around them.
"The truth our light" came the lyrical voice of the monster god.
"In bright blue sky" the captain finished the old children's rhyme and Alaska knew she was witness to the begining of a new story, this was how all her favorite legends started, she knew these words before they were spoken, she said them together with her friends when they played reenactments of their favorite stories and now she lived in one, no one would believe her telling how the emperor flew to meet a god and discuss mundane details about ships attacking some cities while leaving others intact, troops invading one port before moving to another place, then she understood the message shee delivered, this was how the emperor informed the admins about his plan so they could move players to more interesting sites, this wasn't boring at all, these small details were how a legend was formed in the backstage, she started recording too late, only catching some final details before the god said he would inform the elders and vanished below the surface of the sea.
Alaska wanted to cry but the emperor called all the Players to the main deck, "you bore first witness to the begining of a new tale in the annals of the pirate emperor", he seemed to check something in his interface, "the first in two hundred years", he added "in the chest behind me are parchments holding a syncronised recording of everything that happened today", he pulled the chest open, "each of you will take one and upload it to whatever media you want", then he scanned the crowd, "anyone who wouldn't share the recordings is banned from my ship", then he finished "no more ransome will be taken you are either with me or I will personally shank and sink you" ending with the traditional "clear?"
To which a chorus answerd "crystal" and they all rushed to the chest.
