315 Boss Clog

315 Boss Clog

Allen defined the cloud of burning ash and cancelled it, some wisps of smoke were already different enough from the original effect that they escaped the action and he didn't bothet chasing them, his attention drawn to the smoldering husk that was a living Kobold only seconds before, she had a name, he liked her, and there wasn't a player that was going to respawn her.

The other Kobolds wailed in anguish, ArmBasher broke the shaman staff hitting Zhoran and it drove her to new heights of rage going so far as to lift the youngster in the air and smashing him to the floor, JewelSetter turned the charred corpse around and flung back at the gruesome sight of her greater great grand daughter burnt alive by a fanatic like in the old days.

Heaving hard JewelSetter clawed furrows in the tiled floor, clutching her aching chest she looked murderously at the zealot that would hurt her offspring, it took all of BoneSmith and another guard's strength just to hold her from butchering the maniac and she raised her head to cry in rage that could never be assuaded without blood flooding the streets, her family and Oracle's were only allied by necessity but if those crazed zealots were the ones hunting her business partners then the whole alliance was false and her eyes were just blind by the serene visage of the oldest Kobold, older by a year over a thousand wasn't much when al things were taken into account but it mattered fir her generation and it let them construct a hierarchy of sorts that didn't rely on strength and bloodshed.

Not wanting to make his omnipotence too obvious Allen devised a plan, "pick up the shaman staff", he ordered and Staffson complied, "hold the two parts together", he didnt really need the ceremony but it was better that way, deleting the two halves and creating a new whole object Allen then instructed Staffson in an elaborate ceremony, finally Allen made the 'burnt Kobold' glow and deleted it, innediately bringing back the backup version of Gem.

The young Kobold looked at an invisible message before turning to JewelSetter and falling to her arms, the elder held her offspring tight as if letting her go would take her away again, Allen looked at the wounded youngling lying at ArmBasher feet and restored him to full health as well.

"Can any of you explain why Gem was attacked?" He asked the group
