After three days of torture Karen could hardly bring herself to log back to the game, her penalty for being late yesterday was being forced to stay online for another hour after her shift was supposedly over, with tears in her eyes she logged in and the shop materialised around her, she was already on the floor, blood pouring from several wounds before she died and respawned just so she can die again.
The Kobold patrol was running away, Jimmy wanted to chase them but Talia held him back, "something is strange", she said, "we didnt even attack them yet", and she pointed to the walls and door, "this place gives me the creeps".
Andrej scanned the hallway for more traps, after using more than half his supply of disarming equipment on the dozens of traps from where they saw the strange Kobold Slave and here, he wasn't going to be fooled by anything that the creatures could make.
Signalling to the group that they could move forward again he let them pass him so he wasn't exposed to sudden attacks from the creatures themselves, the foreman NPC was a formidable enemy and Andrej didnt want to be hit by anything that could shatter a paladin shield with a single strike.
Reaching a curve in the tunnel Nuar and Talia checked and only saw the Kobolds running inside a room at about two thirds of the way, on their left there were three doors and on their right they could see a two dark openings leading to some other parts of the Kobold Warren, as this place was called, the hall they were walking in curved again after the doorway the Kobolds slammed shut.
Andrej scanned this new hallway and wasn't surprised to detect no less than three pits, two rigged pillars, a drop trap and even a rigged wall, the hidden door was also iluminated in his vision but he ignored it for now as there was a lot of work to be done right here and now before they could even move another step.

Taking out his extended pole Andrej triggered the roof trap, rocks the size of watermelon dropped and broke through the floor revealing a pit below, he used the pole to hop over the pit and from the other side threw a rope ladder to Talia that hammered its hooks to the floor, when the group got to him he decided to leave the makeshift bridge in case they needed to retreat, just another item from his inventory that he just lost to a silly little trap.
Poking the wall to his right caused a small avalanch and he barely pulled back the tool before it too was broken, walking over the gravel he fealt something klick and jumped barely in time before the pillar dropped on him, he signalled the group to move closer before checking the first opening to his right.
Lighting a flare and throwing it at the darkness had little effect as the flare hit the wall after about five meters, casting its eery light and creating strange shadows in the small hallway only revealed that the tunnel cuved left, he listened for a few seconds and decided to check it.
Curving again Andrej was sure meant the cave would lead back to the other opening so he walked back to the group and they all moved towards the hidden door, finding no mechanism to pick he called Sienna to use a [Knock] spell on it.
One diamond and fifteen gold later they looked in to see an empty room, checking it for traps and hidden objects revealed nothing so the group moved on the the next door which opened to another empty room, Andrej looked down the other opening before moving to the next door, when he couldn't see his flare's glow he decided to explore the cave.
Almost too late he remembered to check for traps and stopped almost on the trigger for another pit, when the floor dropped he managed to use the pole to jump away but his hasted movement caused the pole to snap before he could change course.
Worried from his almost empty inventory Andrej will soon need to resupply, and buying items in a wilderness shop was allways a costly affair even if he could get one of the creatures of the cave to interact with him.
