Following Allen was a green scaled monstrocity easily eight times his size, five days after Allen was told he couldn't communicate with the children in any way he returned from his self imposed exile to the Dragon's vault.
Meroa thought she wanted to meet Allen's secret tutor, but now seeing him in the daylight, the ancient dragon made her freeze in terror, will her avatar induce that feeling some day in the distant future?
Dragons had many passive skills and a lot of them were related to size and age, both of which the coming monstrocity had in abundance, remembering a time when she considered herself a dragon hunter in the Kobold capital killing the juvenile giant lizards in the forests and dreaming of facing an ancient patriarch for magnificient treasures, she was suddenly happy she didn't get to live those dreams, the giant that was perhaps slightly stronger than her Kyatha avatar was a morning snack to the thing landing in front of her.
"Aren't you supposed to cure the Kobold plague?" She asked Allen.
"I gave them a computer that can create the same effects", his simplicity kept surprising her, "every time they want to use it all they have to do is feed it with five gold coins for each recipient and say the ceremonial words", smiling sheepishly, "the money is then distributed between me and the other inventors"
Remembering what he told her about the plague the numbers popped in her mind made her dizzy, "you will beggar the empire".
"Not at all" adding quickly, "they insisted to deter any youngsters from getting feral fever as they will be forced to pay for their own treatment", finishing with, "and the second and further demand double each time so it becomes quite a burden to pay for a few days of violence", shrugging, "I dont know how they will deal with real addicts but that is not my concern as BoneSmith wisely put it".
Approaching the newcomer with caution, "welcome to the vault elder Shoul"
"The pleasure is mine" spreading his wings with a mighty shake, "haven't seen the sun for a hundred years"
Turning to Allen, "Sutul wants to see you and the guilds agreed if you are supervised", adding, "you are not allowed to use any spells or skills", looking at Shoul she realised how ridiculous the next sentence will sound, "or intimidate them in any way", completing the message, "nor can you deliver any subvertive or anti guild messages by any means".
Indicating for him to follow her, realising too late she had no authority over the newcomer when Shoul followed them as well.

"You abandoned us", were the first angry words to greet them, "we came all this way and you left", tears filled the man's beautiful eyes, "my mother said you kidnapped us so the AshMourns can extort our guilds" Sutul looked away.
"I did no such thing", Allen sounded hurt at the accusations, "they told me they will hurt you if I communicated with any of the employees or customers"
"You hurt us", the mans voice broke, "they called us liars and said it was all just pretend", looking at Allen, "that you decieved us so we will be vulnerable"
"I never lied to you", Allen started shaking, "never lied", then looking back at Shoul, "remember how the vice president was never there with us in conferences but always had a seat?" Sutul looked at the other dragon, "this is vice president Shoul of the Dragon's vault bank", sizing him up, "do you think I can lie to him?"
Sutul shook his head and sniffed, "they said you only wanted our avatars", looking at his feet, "that if we weren't strong or beautiful you would just kick us out"
Allen reached to his back and pulled something he placed in front of him, "this is my best friend Jovial", adding "he is a level seven shopkeeper", sounding grim, "when I was gone the Kobolds shunned him so he couldn't level up", finishing, "you are all my friends, customers and employees", raising his voice, "I will never abandon you of my own free will"
"You mean that?" The hope in Sutul's voice almost broke Meroa's heart.
"When I heard they wanted to take your avatars", looking at Meroa, "I went to the mountain", Meroa gasped, "and he agreed to add a secret spawn point for the bank customers and employees right here in the courtyard", something clanged when someone in the back dropped it, Meroa's jaw could hit the basement floor, new spawn points were unheard of, it took two hundred years for a settlement to be allowed to send a petition for a point, and one in the middle of a high level dungeon didn't exist, until today.
"I sent you the codes", Allen said to Sutul, "they will only work for Players with the bank employee or customer tab", adding, "and only employees can respawn here".
If nothing else happened today this could be the end of her known world, the number of people demanding to join the bank roster starting with herself was incalculable, it was simply everyone, it wasn't even in the guild tag, the bank had its own tag in the Player profile, like the pirates were, and it clicked, each ship was a guild and they all worked for the emperor, that was how he could control so many Players, they weren't all one guild with a single ladder but a complex corporation like the bank and its divisions, they could make the alliance more than just a name and a set of arbitrary agreements.
While her thoughts raged Sutul left and Allen seemed to be in deep thoughts, then an avatar spawned, and another, more than a hundred new avatars appeared in the new spawn point and Meroa realised Sutul had spread the word and the children stole the thunder from the guilds' threat by making it come true.
A hundred level one equipless avatars in the middle of a high ranking dungeon and Meroa pitied the giants for the plague about to descend upon them, then another thought hit her, message was a general spell any class could learn and Allen built warmachines as a hobby, the giants were doomed without knowing it, even if someone like Koreimim appeared, her eyes sneaked to look at Shoul.
